A few nights ago I went to the stronghold and no one else was around. Killed everything in and around the place and got three crystals from spellweavers/protectors along with a boatload of junk, including lootkit parts and lances/LVAs. Some of the weapons actually had very interestin skill mods (e.g., terrain negotation +8, polearm speed +12) but the damage wasn't that great. (I actually sliced the lance with the polearm speed +12 - also had polearm damage +15, but it's nerfed - and got a great speed slice). That same night, left the stronghold and NS were simply everywhere. Got a couple adhesives, more loot kit parts, another clear crystal and a gold color crystal (first color crystal I've looted off of NS, by the way).

Two nights ago, went back to the stronghold and it was camped pretty heavily. Drove around, not many people, but also not many NS. Killed what I found (skipped by the initiate/slave clusters) and got a few lousy weapons and a couple lootkit parts.

Last night, once again went back to the stronghold - one other person there, but must have recently arrived as 3/4 of the stronghold was untouched. Killed about 1/2 of the stronghold occupants, got 2 more crystals.

I don't know if the tables are better or not - I had a great night, a horrible night and a good night. The crystals are just about all quality, so I can sell em for 300-400K each conservatively. A guy last night insisted I sell a couple of em to him for 500K each, so that's always nice (I did tell him I thought that was too much money, but he really insisted). I took his name down and told him that, in the future, I'd sell whatever I got for around 400K each, unless it was premium or unless the condition was really high (e.g., 1200+). I don't know if it makes a difference, but people seem to like the high condition crystals.

Long story short (too late) - it's probably just the case that you had good luck, but if this trend continues, I'll believe they changed the tables. Now, I'd love to see some new types of loot introduced! For some reason, I just love seeing that message "You have completely looted the corpse of all items."

Well, last night was a relative bust.

I killed a bunch of NS before getting killed by an elder. Almost all were creds. I did loot a couple locked containers and two NS shards with decent ham reductions. Also got some very very lousy lances/lva's.

I don't know how loot is managed in the game, but I have a hard time believing that it is entirely random. It might work on some variable schedule or something. If it is entirely random, I don't see how I could get such great loot one night and then absolutely nothing to speak of a few nights later.

That is the way it is with me. Spen 2 buff sessions one sunday and got nothing. Next buff session I got crystals, AA, and two adhesives from Aakuans, went to geo cave and looted 4 geo pistols and a buncjh of solidifing agents. I guess if you play long enough in a single day, eventually it will even out. Since then I haven't gotten anything except a lousy scout pistol from a ST.

I do agree that the loot tables definately need to be modified. Maybe do away with treasure chest in the caves and move the lot to the npcs that inhabit them. That way even if somebody is camping the cave, everybody else that kills a critter in cave/dungeon has the same chance to get the good stuff.

Think I'll go to talus tonight and run champion missions. Give the NS a break. Even evil ladies deserve a break .
