Buddy of mine got exceptional tissues of an ancient. 287 max damage I believe.

Killed 2 of them with my guildmates and friends last night.. I did this with my 2nd toon, Riflegirl/Doc, but you guys are my family here on the Forums (/hugsall Swordies 
)so I thought I'd mention it! They were tough as hell... there were 7 of us, we had 2 Swordies tanking and 2 rifles, 2 BH's and a pistoleer/smuggler who was upset 
Great fun though,I was running around healing states like mad, ran out of pretty much every state pack and then was just healind dmg.. out swordies did a great job and we killed him after a long, hard battle.. One of our Swords left then, just as the second spawned, because her chestplate was broken 
The second was a lot tougher without the 2 swords doing the dmg, but we managed it again, took a helluva long time Our reward? 2 sets of tissues - 6 and 8 - Base ones..... /growl Krayt Dragon Ancients

Went straight to bed after too 'cos they wore me out

Ugg, me and my rifleman friend did an ancient. Took us forever. Lol, our buffs were scheduled to run out half way through the ordeal. He is a tkm, so I took off 20 mins before pumpkin time, got buffed and came back. I tanked it for 20 mins while he went to coronet and got buffed and came back. after almost 3 hours, we won the fight and got a premium crystal. I asked "should we wait for the next one to spawn?" we both replied "hell no" at the same time. That was one draining experience.

ive only seen one ancient krayt ever. i was a marksman then and grinding rifles and so all i had was my laser rifle. i couldnt get buffed either because my guild doc was supposed to and they were already fighting it when i got there. about 25-30 people (cant remember the exact number) members of ADQ and NSA and some other took it down. it was awhile ago and all i remember was that i died once in an instant when it got too close to me and whapped me with its tail and we looted armor segs i think :S still really fun. i remember looking down at the tanks and thinking "how the $#!@ do they do that). never seen another ancient to this very day though.

Ive killed about 3 SPAWNs of anceint krayt, think I got a pearl along time ago. Take about 30 minute per one I believe, we had a Flamer and we health incapped it, flamer s very good, it does 4k damage per tick But I killed 7 Giant Canyon today and looted 3 pearls

Myself and another Swordie/defense stacker used to roam around and take ancients. With both of us focusing on his mind (and havine a pretty nice mind fire lance) it took us about an hour per to get them down. We never got any pearls but we had backpacks full of tissue. Then patch 9 came out and we went after NS to get crystrals.

Where do you guys find these? I have heard they spawn near the skeleton poi. This true?

The spawn I found was near the Sandcrawler, a little ways from the entrance of the Graveyard POI, there's a Tusken Vs Jawa spawn battle there, the spawn was just round the other side.

same just killed a few today with no good loot
then KS jedi and squad killed it from us and looted a pearl

lol if the tissues r worth it, i woulldnt complain even though a prem pearl is always the better
