Thread: Is Swordsman THAT good?
PVE or PVP?
I love it for PVE, but I hear its kind of lacking in the PVP department as far as defences go.
swordman is great if you plan on putting alot of points into it...like master brawler and some df form other classes
a master swordsman with nothing else is still great for PvE...i did it for a long time
but if you want to be a great pvper you need more then just that to be effective
hope that helps ![]()

best in PVE!! get a full set of ubese with 70%+ kinetic resist and a bio-shirt with +14 intimidate/+14 warcry
you will kick some pretty a$$ out there ![]()
A swordsman/Doc would be great for PvE. Buff yourself and don't worry about the ham costs.
By the way, HAM costs depend on weapon. If I remember correctly, the Two-handed curved sword was more action dependent, but Powerhammer and two-handed cleaver are more Health dependent (for these, Tatooine sunburns worked great since they almost nullified the health cost. Not sure now since the chef patch if anything is better for it.)
But I guess if you wanted to go PvP then you would need some defenses since ours suck. As a Master HS a TK asked me to duel to see how her defenses where. Don't know her exact template, but I got one hit in and then her warcry/intimidate/KD took me out quick (about 5 sec). She had Comp on and was buffed (I assume since my HeadHit3 barely showed a sliver of white) and I had neither, but evenif I had thoseI think I would have been beat quickly since I really have no way of stopping from watching the fight from the ground.

Doctor 4/4/0/0. So i can be almost completely self relient. 10K for doc buffs are annoying, and then there are docs that are just jerks.
You can't buff with that...you need the third line to have a higher medicine use.
Oh...and try to be master doc for a week, then come back to tell us if 10k is soooo annoying.
