The Sandbox Team has been selected! (and now I'm going to pass out after pulling a near all-nighter 
)
First of all let me say that I got a lot of apps and a lot of them were very good. I'm sorry to those who didn't get in -- I wish I could bring a lot more in with me.
In case you were curious, here's what was involved. I pooled all the apps into one document (it was almost 30 pages worth). Then I read them all and wrote notes -- how good the app was, hours available, PvP or PvE, time and experience as a swordsman, etc. Then I selected the top 15 or so and read a random sampling of their post histories just to get a bit more of an idea about who was behind the apps. Then, after much deliberation, I managed to get down to a final 8 -- 5 first team people and 3 alternates. One was a personal choice and the rest were all based solely on applications, posting history and the roles we needed to have filled.
When I get a green light on the sandbox I'll query the first team, and then alternates if necessary, to get together our team. Unfortunately I still don't know when that will be. If I have to choose an alternate, the alternate will depend on who we are losing from the main team. If we lose a PvP player it will be a PvP alternate, etc.
Those selected should PM me to let me know that they can still accept, didn't receive a spot elsewhere, and if you'd like, to give me any information I might want for contacting you. IM handles, emails, or server and character names are all possibilities. Ideally it would be nice to get everyone on IM's but we'll see how it goes.

omg lol the name that first came to mind is one of a guild i know on tarquinas... maybe i should consult the leader lol..
but anyways how about <THC>, The Hammer Clan?

Great choices. I was a little surprised noc-turnal didn't make it in as a primary due to his excellent PvP guide, but I'm sure there were reasons behind all these choices. I trust that this team will represent Swordsmen more than adequately once the sandbox is brought up, and will gladly step up should one of the chosen 5 be unavailable when the time comes.

Make me proud to be a swordsman! Beat around the jedis in the sandbox haha.

Edit2: one more thing, Gabe, you think you can post the applications just so we can see who we got on our side?
