My counterattack is currently 160 with Master Carbineer and 0/4/2/4 sword.

I am loving counterattack like you wouldn't believe.
Only thing I love more is swordsman. Wow does this profession kick. Check this out.(FYI: I did thiswith 70% resist comp, full buff set, muon gold, flameout (1750 to health drink) tatooine sunburn and 2 glazed glucose pates.)

As you can see when the NPC Force guys use AOE attacks they hit one another. But what killed them was 2 mind bleeds on each and then chop, chop to the head, and there missing me over and over. Torrent of Enmity and Torrent of Hatred - look at the damage they would have dealt if they'd connected.
Swordsman is the most fun prof I've done so far. I wish I'd known melee was this fun, I would've done it months ago. ![]()
Without double mind bleeds and counterattacks there's no way I could have done this.

Yep, I actually have 675 sword xp I'm about to train and once I hit master I'll post those.
Oh yeah, in this fight I forgot all about even trying COB. **edit** ranged habits.

Lol, CoB will make you counterattack way more.
this sounds great...but i am confused. when i go to http://swgcb.yogn.net/swg-cb.phpand put in your template Ypiana: Master Carbineer and 0/4/2/4 sword, and then i review the mods, it shows counterattack at +25
how are you up to +160? is the SWG character builder out of whack?
even when i put in Master Carbineer/Master Swordsman the counterattack only shows +45...

jabjowie, the template maker thing is wacked out. Some of them are really out of date, i have yet to find one where fencer gets the increased melee defense added in... anyway, i have 60 counterattack and i have only 0433 in swordsman. I think master swordsman gets around 85 counterattack.. but ithinkim wrong.
If the melee defense+counterattack caps then that sucks... because my template gives me tons of melee defense, hopefully it wont be wasted.

ohhh, so the SWG character builderis wrong! it shows +5 for every block...hehe,oops, shows how much i look at mymods in-game...iam alomost done with counterinsurgency IV right now.

I too am Master Carbineer andI am currently 0 0 2 3 in swordsman. I usually do a action1 bleed and action2 bleed from carbine, then switch to PowerHammer and double Mind bleed. If I dont win the fight, the other person is still seriously facked. YEAH!
I cant wait to Master Swordsman. I already feel like I counterattack a bunch with my +105 just from Carbineer.
But you are correct that it doesnt compare to Fencer/Pistoleer dodge. Its like they are break dancing while you try to hit em.
Also, looking at all your logs..... it seems you really like Scalp Slam. Every attack u did was that! lol
