Today, i solo'd:

Axkva Min: 1010 Credits

Stronghold Elder: Prem Crystal

Static Spawn near Prison Elder: creds

Stronghold Elder Aagain: creds

Inside the building in stronghold Elder: Base NS lance

Labor Camp Elder: Creds

I think i need to hear some success stories to keep me on these girls. I was so happy to get axkva min to myself, carefully pull away the protectors from the last group that died to her, then agro her and run and intimidate, then pound away. my heart jumped for joy when she pulled out a scythe and not a PH or SB. then i loot her and get creds

of course, krayt hunting went VERY well, prem pearl, some very nice tissues, oh well...

Im still sticking to my opinion that they shouldnt do anything about elder loot till after the CURB. These arent ment to be this easy and thereas i dont think you should get good loot all the time

they shudnt be this easy? well everything else in the game is bloody easier !

I like the way Elder loot is now, it's like playing the lotto, the way loot drops are meant to be. I've killed more Elders then I care to count, and from my experience, I can tell you it is well worth it once you find something nice.

I'd rather not have every person I run into using an exceptional weapon or have every piece of there armor and clothing lined with +25 attachments.

The randomness of NS loot is what makes them exciting to kill. Not to mention they can be pretty tough

A fight with an elder is never easy.

It takes a very select fiew templates to be able to solo one

Unless you are careful, even a wooden staff Elder can ruin your day

Elders can swing ap2 weapons

Elders are only vulnerable to blast and energy

Massive stacked bleeds

You may think it is easy because you are practiced and good at it. Krayts and Nyax are easy, any old idiot can solo them - even a fencer or tkm with nothing but time on their hands. Elders take a little more forethought and planning to bring down.

I dropped medic so i could harvest a good shift of meat, and i don't even need it for giant krayts. I would solo ancients too, but i don't want to waste that much time. I will not go try elders till i have first aid 2 back though.

Iwould like to hear how often you go out and solo elders so i may more accurately judge the validity of your opinion.

well at least you got a premium, i kill about 2-3 a day for months now and have only looted 2.

i was mainly discouraged because axkva didn't drop anything. but i guess you are right.

don't bother hunting elders, imo it is a waste, just kill thugs... i looted a 297 mind fire from them, Only had to kill 3 also

using my rifleman, i killed an elder and looted a 7xx max pike, i was pretty happy, considering i lost my x34 to get it lol.
