Thread: Judge my templete please

Sorry, I know this is probably the wrong section, but I'm on a crunch for time and I don't have the time to hunt down an "offical judge thread"


Here is what my layout is:


Master Swordsman

Master Brawler

TK: 4,3,0,0

Fencer:4,0,4,0

Medic: 2,0,0,0

Scout: 3,0,0,0


Gear Wise, I have a complete set of composite, and I will be using a scyhte, but I don't have digits for the scyhte, since I currently have : Swordsman 0111. All my armor still has sockets left open.

Skill mod Summary:


Counterattack+100

Dodge+75

Defense Acuity+15

Defense vs Dizzy+65

Defense vs Knockdown+45

Defense vs Stun+65

Defense vs Posture Change+40

Melee Defense+96

Melee Mitigation+7

Ranged Defense+89


I was planning on using this for pvp, please tell me how I can improve it. This templete uses all points and has no left overs

hate to tell you but that isn't a good pvp template. swordsmen isn't a good pvp profession, other things i noticed in that...



-you cannot get +7 melee mitigation, its only +3 and mitigation only works for the weapon you are wielding.


-your +to dodge won't work while using swords, the dodge only goes with fencer and counter attack goes with swords, same with defensive acuity, won't work unless your using a vk or nothing.


-drop the scout, terrain negotiation is nice, but DEFINATELY NOT WORTH all the skill points to get it.


-instead of the heal bleed from first aid, go up the pharm tree (if you drop scout you can get medic 0/0/4/0) that will allow you to use stim Ds and heal for at least 1k.


- you might want to rethink getting tk x/x/x/4 that tree has massive defensive bonuses (melee and ranged)

I presume you want Scout, if you drop Scout, then you can get Pike 0040 instead of Scout 2000 and go

Thanks for your imput guys. No one ever told me that dodge only works with fencer. Also, I was lead to believe that the mitigation stacks. How about this then:


Master Brawler

Master Swordsman

TK: 4304

Fencer:3000

Medic: 1030 Might flip, to use better stims, I'm not to familiar with what works with the med tree

Pike: 0040


Defenses:

Blind: +040

Dizzy: +045

Intimidate:+045

Knockdown:+065

Posture change:+060

Stun: +085

Melee: +156

Ranged: +129

Acuitiy: +071

All defenses cap at 125

Sorry to double post, but what weapon should I go with.

The big three I hear are the executioners hack, Scyhte, and Power Hammers.


Can ya give me the pros and cons of each and when is the right time to use each

Hammer is best for PvE and if you are speed capped.


Scythe is best for PvP because of the accuracy mods

No prob with accuracy if your using Intim. Citros Snowcake and tapes don't hurt either =)

speed tapes unless your maxed, max out on counter attack as well, and then get accuracy and defense

Replace fencer 4 0 4 0 with 0 4 4 0, Melee and ranged defense wont help that much in PVP as most players will have high enough accuracy to hit you anyway.


Definitely drop scout and spend the 19 skillpoints on...


Either get medic2 04 0 so that you can heal almost any amount of damage done too your health and action bars with ease.


Or get xxx4 in TKM which will give you more defense than the fencer line. And then just get 2 2 0 0 in medic with +400 B-stims, and +25 Injury treatment BE clothes you will still heal enough and do it decently fast too.

First off the problem with that template is your def vs states. You want to be capped at 105 with those. 125 is melee and ranged def but that isn't too important as long as you have Mbrawler and intimdate 2. If you can raise your def vs states as much as possible then keep Swords as your main attack and use a PH while speed capped. Also get a ackaly hammer because they have a higher min and are effected less by mitigation. If you want more advice PM me as I don't want to tell everyone my template.
