I am looking to loot some pearls for when I unlock. I am Master Swords.

yes lol you forget you are master swords and right now master swords can solo just bout EVERYTHING! i would suggest just going after canyons/juvys if u are not speed capped and have a decent PH i used to take canyons with a 723 puped one in 10min so you should be around there. i was just master swords by the way 0 extra speed

Thanks handy tips there, tried a giant canyon but even with anti dizzy was still being knocked down and dizzied so had to leg it. Do the Juveniles and basic Canyons actually drop any loot though?

Juveniles drop Quality rated Pearls, Canyons drop Premium rated Pearls, the same as Giants do, but are easier to put down. All Krayts also drop Tissues/Scales/Composite Segments. Some Krayts also drop the odd Exceptional/Legendary weapon/armour. Have fun while you can, We won't be able to solo Krayts for long

yeah, i need to do some more krayt hunting b4 CU hits...need to increase my bank account figures alot again

I've soloed an ancient krayt with Master Swords/Master Doc.. took about 30 minutes though, lol

I'm curious how you managed to solo a mob with 95% resists and heavy armor in under 30min (one that spams just about every state as well).

Ancients are a definite pain. Even with 90% ADK armor, a 1k power hammer, KD food, dizzy food, +75 to KD def and dizzy def, +65 d vs intim, i find myself running away no from damage, but just frustration of it taking so long

The KD/Dizzy from a Giant really is not that big of an issue and easily overcome. The trick is, once the get KD'd, do NOT try to stand. Just lay there. The Giant spams KD every few seconds. So thenext time he spams KD you will pop right to your feet and can go back to hitting him. Oh and always check your armor to make sure it is good condition before initiating combat with a Canyon or Giant.

One of the most feasible ways to solo an Ancient Krayt at the moment is as a Swords/Commando, with a heavy damage Flamer and Powerhammer, the fire DoT allows you to bring the resists down faster than usual, I think - I can't say because I've not tested it myself, but I've seen it done in around 30mins bya lone, brave Swords/Commando. Of course, this won't be possible in a few weeks, but it's sure possible now

You need to use fire and poison pikes. Fire and Light saber are the only ways to take down an ancient.

It definitely took you longer than ten minutes. I'm speed capped and have a 744 damage hammer un-powered up, and it takes atleast 15 minutes to kill a canyon.
