Ive been having so much fun i haven't even bothered picking up an alternative profession. I think I'll go Rifleman. Would that make a good combo. Opinions please.

Get Master Doctor.... the ultimate Solo player. I love it.

I was masterswords/doc for a while, and it was great. I dropped doc to go rifleman, but it is not even close to as good as swordsman is in pve. Theres really no point in getting it. I'm picking up master brawler and master fencer so I can dabble in pvp soon. If I have enough points left I will get tka 4/0/0/0.

ye ai know the feeling. i'm surrently master swords/tkm/master brawler/fencer 3440. great pve/pvp balance. Except against kiters 
oh well. i considering a new template tho. master swords/master pistoleer/smuggler pistols/tka 4000. that way i have both the ranged and melee covered, and i wont do rifleman again lol. done it twice and hated it. Swordsman has to be the best pve proff. combined with the defenses from either fencer or pistoleer, it's uber.

master swords master doc....When you're up there soloing elders you'll be extremely happy you have master doc makes it a lot easier and plus you can heal that stackable bleed they slap on you waaay to much

I was a Master Swordsman / Master Rifleman for several months. I found that I hardly used my rifle at all. So I took a chance, dropped the rifle and Mastered Doctor. I'll never miss the Rifle at all 
This also allowed me to drop Doc off my Alt and knock out Musician. I am a one stop buffer now that can still kick ass and take names!

Everyone has different opinions, I solo krayts with tka/riffleman and I love it. Nothing like outdamaging a group of 5 ppl, lol 
.
.But yes, overall, swordsman is a very good profession. Never liked it mysefl, but thats just me

ya swordsman does rock, i started this game as a pistoleer & was a ch as well (days b4 buffs were common) i kept pistoleer in hopes that the devs would fix it someday
so when i decided to give up ch & choose a melee proff i liked swordsman, i never regreted it since, i can solo just about anything & can tank anything(ie: sbd's) i also added some fencer for the def. , with pistoleer i get ranged dam mitation as well
being a doc would be nice for removing states & dieases & such but otherwise i think swordsman = god in pve

unless you dont like bufflines... get rifleman
IF you wanna PvE go 4000 TKA, 0040 Medic, Master Rifle, Master Swords
You heal for 1.5k, can meditate all wounds and DoTs of, and deal gr8 blows to the mind at both close and long range.
If you wanna PvP aswell, then go0440 Fencer, Nov Med, Master Rifle, Master Swords.
Thatl get you about 50 extra defense against dizzy, kd and posture down, not to mentionstun, blind etc.
Im speedcapped in both swords and rifles, if someone comes in to try and steal my kill (Krayt Dragon, Acklay). You just back of a bit, get him to tank, wup out your 750+ DMG T21, and do Strafeshot 2.. every sec. Thatl overpower a good 3-4 normal, non speedcapped swordsman and rifleman.
All depends on what you want, I never really liked doc, just because solo swordsman is crap in PvP, and my template with fencer and rifles works alot better.

Hmm, if you really like Swordsman so much why don't you go for
Master Swordsman
Master Brawler
Fencer 0-4-4-0
Medic 0-0-4-0
TK 4-3-0-4
I have that now for quite some time and it works fine for me, both in PvE and in PvP.
