Thread: Best way to solo a krayt/NS elder?

I wanna solo both of these not at once just one of them what would be the best way to do it?

loop your COB macro, buff up, 90% Kinetic resist armor, pick a target and 2hMeleeHeadHit3 it it's dead...works like a charm. Dont forget intimitade, every little bit helps.

Stim E's, Intimidate, Cob looping, Ahrisa food (mine is 33fill +398 Focus, for 45min), Brandy, 49 fill, at least 400+ to focus/willpower, 2k buffs, Mind bleed, mind hit 3, and a bit of luck. When I find them (high level MoB's shy aways from me 
) It is very do-able.

It slightly improves chances of Counter-attack from what ive tested with it, unfortunately, counter is nowhere near as useful as dodge.
From what ive heard, mind bleeds dont stack, and one mind bleed does pathetic dmg to a high level mob, so i dont bother with it at all.

Keep the buggers intimidated at all times lowers their damage output and defences. With intim 1 that means doing it every few seconds. I keep my cob looping and just headhit3. I have high melee def though, from master fencer on top of master swords, but I'm switching to master swords/doc. I'll let you know how that works out.

as master doc / master swordsman, they are a breeze....
loop CoB macro to every 30 seconds (and another 2 seconds later w/in macro just in case of lag)

KEEP HIM INTIMIDATED....he won't throw the 1.5k (through 80% armor) hits at you then
as mentioned, 80% kinetic will do just fine (much cheaper too)
2.5k mains, 2.4k secondary buffs (what I use on myself and guildmates)
2 brandies
and 1 canape every 10-12 minutes (however long yours lasts) ----- i also have all stats migrated to mind secondaries BTW...and what's left is in "mind"...it helps alot
muon on backup (shouldn't need it)
stim Es -- usually use about 5 per NS elder (just 5 uses, not 5 packs)
start w/ gamorrean and put the mind disease
then do the rest w/ PH headhit3
....and you don't have to wait till he loses "intimidation" to re-apply 
it is much better if he NEVER loses it.....i managed to never lose intimidation on a NS elder through the whole 15-20 minutes once--only had to use 1 stim E the whole time, lol.....so as you can see, he doesn't play rough when he's scared

oh, and i throw in some mind poison w/ a normal 110 strength mind poison janta knife as well (just remember CoB only lasts 5 seconds w/ one-handed knife if you don't have any boxes at all in one-handed weapons under brawler tree)

Buffs, ent buffs, double shot brandy, canapae or kd food(forgot what it's called), Stim D's, 80% kinetic resist armor, and a nice power hammer.
