My pack has 4 slots but I cant figure out how to add a skill tape. They just go in the packs inventory I am a wookie, so an armor belt is out of the question. Are packs bugged, or am I just "special"? hehe

Its a common issue, you cant put tapes in backpack. BUT, i heard about one thing, never tried myself.

If the backpack if full, 50 items if eq. and then try to put the tape in the backpack. that may work, just a rumor. Try and post here and we will find out.

there are actually some backpacks that have skill mods in them already. for example for the imperials, i beleive a backpack is available as a reward in the emperors retreat (imperial theme park). it comes in schematic form, however it has its own mods, such as ranged defence and such.

So, Wookies get screwed when it comes to skill tapes? I hope our next versions of armor have a belt!

Tell me if I'm wrong, but don't mabari belts have zero condition/zero decay?

Well, you might try getting some gloves made. You can wear gloves and the wookie armor bracer at the same time. That might work, but I'm not sure as I don't have any skill tapes worth adding to my gloves.

and as for deterioration, well so far (knock on wood) the only time they deteriorate for me is when i die (even insured the decay as most of you know).

Yes they do, and you can put AA's in them.
