Dunno if this has been posted, probably has, but I digress. If you want to get some of the TKA profession to complement swordsman but dread the grind, this is what I did and got novice tka in 1 hour:

I got missions on dantooine, usually pikets or bols, and run up and smack the lair until there are around 8-10 on me. Then one by one mind hit 1 and 2 on them and then peace. Make sure not to hit them with your hammer. Then just wait a minute or so and when they have no mind left start hitting them with unarmed and you will get all the xp for unarmed.

I did this last night for the first two boxes of tka and fencer that I needed.

How do you stop them from beating on your ass while they are bleeding? And don't you auto-attack if you are attacked, even if you peace?

He must be buffed and have a doctor standing by. I get chewed up and spit out by 2 pickets, but I'm only 0411 SM.

I am still waiting for the Scythe, Can you please release it/tell us where to find it?

Once you peace, you won't auto-attack again until you take a combat action, i.e. warcry, intim, any special move, ~ then 1(attack current target). Not sure about beserk, seeing as how it's an invisible combat action like stims.

How do i not get chewed up?Well, i wear armor that has at least 70% kinetic(ubese) and sometimes 77%(my composite). And ya, I never fight without buffs. I can't considering my stats are all in mind and I have 400 for health and action stats. Master swordsman CoB, and I can sit in a pack for quite a long time. Honestly this is most useful until you get novice tka, then the xp is easy. I like to go to fort tusken and dizzy/knockdown everyone in the joint, then go tapdance on their foreheads. Now I'm master swordsman/brawler, and tka 2-0-2-2 and fencer 0-2-0-0 and have good defense. Soon I'll be 4-4-0-4 tka, and 3-4-4-0 fencer and have seriously insane defenses. I haven't lost a melee duel since hitting master swordsman and I'm loving it. There's hope out there guys

Think he means don't hit them with your hammer after you've put on the bleeds.

This tactic has been around forever. Get a Rock Beetle or sumthin and have it tank, put on the blleds and then switch to unarmed. Works even easier than tanking. Heal the Rock Beetle when neccessary

Yes, use the hammer for the bleed, then as soon as you land it switch weapons so you do not actually do kinetic damage to the mob, then all experience you get will be with the weapon you switched to.

I use this tactic with a GSP now and it works great.

all flaming aside...you say hit them with mind hit 1 and 2 but make sure not to hit them with your hammer....how do you hit them with mind hit 1 and 2 w/o using a 2hd weapon when mind hit 1 and 2 are 2hd skills and require a 2hd weapon?
