After killing 200+ NS, not a single friggin SEA. Decided to screw it and try Akuan Mish on Talus, 5th mission = +6 2H Speed.
Yeah.
That's right.
My first SEA in like forever.
Screw the NS. Everyone go kill Aakuans!!!!!!!

Aakuns drop skilltapes ranging from -6 to +6.
NS drop tapes ranging from -25 to +25.
I have personaly never looted a 2handed speed from a Aakuan (
) but I have looted other good AAs. They dont like dropping CAs it seems.
About when i had killed 200 NS then I got my first NS dropped SEA. +12 Polearm Damage :/ . Now I just dont do them as i need to wear armor and thats its just boring driving around in a circels trying to find a spawn that nobody else is at.

Just finished running the A Missions, got alot of loot, main ones:
+6 2H Speed
+4 2H Speed
+5 2H Dmg
My last trip to Talus got Nada...this time it definitly paid off.
Sorry, but I pick these over killing NS for 2 weeks and get nothing/broken mods.

Lucky, ever time i go NS hunting ive ended up dead and with no loot!!!!
But i do have good news, i looted a +1 to structure expermintation off of a meatlump hehe

yeah the Akuans drop is alot more often and so is there spawn rate.

That skill is bugged. But the speed tapes were nice
. My last trip I got "Intimidate +5" AA and a "Def vs Stun +5" AA. Also I looted (for the 3rd time) 4 Aakuan Rings.

Where are you finding this spawn?..I know the cave but is there another area?. Or is there a mission you can get them? . If so what lvl mission are they

From other threads, & personal experience, you have to be in a solo group to pull Aakuan Champion missions.
However, I wonder if the SEAs vary from server to server, on Infinity I've spent some hurs doing Aakuans, have done a dozen missions at least without an SEA drop, just seem to get the odd junk loot drop instead

from seeing that above post i think server does play apart. my guild on ahazi is based out of talus. aakuans have been mighty friendly with rings and shirts and belts and robes (i have looted i think 9 rings too many robes, shirts belts and one exceptional robe) out of our 90 plus person guild (i think we are up to that amount) no one has ever mentioned (i have played since october) getting a 2 hand speed loot from them. and our guild is quite generous within the guild in distributing the loot to members of appropriate professions. i find that almost to the point of i dont believe he scored two 2 hand speed aa on one outing. but if the server is handing them out.. more power to that server

Hehe, I knew a few people was gonna take this with a grain of salt, cause some people didn't believe me on my servers as well (we were all doing A Missions on Talus). We were all hoping for WS Experimentation Tapes, but hey.
You want to pull Aakuan 'champion' missions. I was in a Solo Group in Dant, then headed to Talus myself and got high difficulty missions. Lots of refreshing still, but yeah.

Thats the one downside of doing aakuan missions is that all you seem to get is AA's (I dont think crafting experimentations come that way). If you get a CA its just the random chance you would get on any other NPC, so nightsisters are still the way to go if your looking for those.

I was running aakuan missions tonight, got about 5 or 6 armor attachments. no 2handed speed mods, but a unarmed speed +4 one. Also a melee defense +5 and a pistol aiming +6. Got plenty of the aakuans clothes and jewelry as well.
