Hi all,

I play on the Infinity server, and was interested to see what the stats are like on other servers for 2hand Curveds, my personal favourite I ask because I think the damage might be borked - I has a 12* W/S friend make me a couple of new ones last night using Genosian cores - should have been 60-70% better than usual, but frankly, I have better swords that were crafted by an 11* W/S without Geno Cores.. odd?

Stats on the Geno core Sword 76-258dmg 2.7 spd

Stats on Normal Sword 68-269dmg 2.6 spd

Not much difference i know, and the Geno does seem to have a closer damage range which is nice, but the Geno sword SHOULD be lots better... Any thoughts?

Thanks

All depends on the Geo cores...

Were they looted? Crafted? Crafted with Glue(adhesive) and Cubes? Where they non-white cubes?

Alot actually goes into it as I foundout working with my WS. She was about to smack me I thinkcause I was so confused but here goes...

Pretty sure average crafted cores are 42/42 min/max dmg or there abouts. Base geo loot cores are 24/24. Crap. Check all stats on cores though. I have looted some that were 35/35 but spd of -.86. Check stats I usually only keep em when max damage is higher than 50 or spd is low than -.5.

Power Cubes. Yellow increase max damage. Base 10 Mx Damage. Need AT LEAST 3 identical for them to really be worth anything in swords. One to make schematic then 2 for a factory run for 2 sword cores. Red reduce ham costs. I think base is -5/-5/-5. Same rule applies. Need at least 3. Green increase weapons condition. Whites are fillers, no bonus stats.

Adhesive. Looks like toothpaste. Base is +10 max damage. Same rule applies need at least 3 identicals.

Ok real quick. I forget if a 2h Curve sword needs one or two sword cores. I think its two, but if its one, any number of loot items will work since everything would be hand crafted.

1 cube + 1 glue (optional) = geo sword core or geo reinforced core. But for weapons that require 2 cores, you need 3 identical items. 1 for schematic then 2 for factory run of 2 cores that actually get used in weapon.

2h Axe = 1 reinforced core
curve sword = 2 sword cores(?) maybe 1
cleaver = 2 sword cores
PH = 2 reinforced cores
Scythe = 2 sword cores

I'm not a WS so feel free to correct me. I just picked this up working with my WS.

The geno cores used were crafted by a WS using yellow cubes and paste - yellow are damage, right?

Yup, yellow are damage... Kinda strange then I would imagine they would be better than that also. They probably only use one sword core then. which would mean +20 over base curve sword. I would imagine a max of around at least 280.

Too bad youre not on Scylla I could show you quiet a few examples.

yeah, i was hoping the damage would be loads better than a normal one too - the reason i asked for em made.. the W/S couldn't understand it either, he made 3 in total and got the same results pretty much each time looks like Infinity's 2hand curved sword damage is borked /cry

In general the geo stuff wont be loads better. It really only helps with max damage.

Acklay bones on the other hand help a nice bit. Even the base ones

Not entirely true... depending on the quality of the cubes/toothpaste used.

For example, a standard geo reinforcement core is 41/41 -.57 (or so)... now if you add base cube and paste you get cores at 51/61 -.57 (paste only adds to max damage). This will ramp up depending on the stats of the cubes/paste.

I've made powerhammers with +15 cubes/+17 paste and when you don't have speed cap, these are actually quite handy.

that sword isn't that great because the damage range is so high.
