Thread: Interesting string in the GCW forum. Someone wants to dump all melee classes

this is an arguable debateable issue.....
in starwars (all the movies) can anyone tell me seeing anybody run around with melee weapons? i never recall seeing a scythe in any of the movies, sure a lot of this game is taken from the extended univers (the books that i dont care to read) but c'mon, would you rather go into iraq today with an m16 or a big ass hammer (keep in mind you'd be fighting, not carpentery)

id be fine in Iraq with my hammer, just get the squad's doctor to buff me first, and pick up tht full comp suit from the armoury....

Yes lots. Go back and watch episode 6...Jabbas Palace..you will see tons of characters with Pikes, Swords, Axes, etc..

ah true but......well.......damn i guess i gotta give ya that one about jabbas guys
still i have to admit, gunfights (when they were equal) were hella fun

wut a bunch of bull edit. get rid of melle? while ur at it get rid of everything else thats not in the movies so basicly its jedi vs smugglers and ranged guys.

Funny how some think the entire SW universe is represented in the movies...there's a lot more to it than that..

yea after taking out melee to be like the movies why don't we say imps can only wear ST armor also.

The anti-melee whiners got a bit too whiney and childish and the thread degenerated into a schoolyard name calling contest. The thread got canned by a CSR. Good thing too...it was full of some of the most rediculous waste of time things I have ever read in my life coming from people you would expect to be at least 1/2 way intelligent since they were smart enough to get connected to the Internet in the first place.
