need healing and a good hammer

Mpike/MSwords/4000 Doc is a solid template but there are some other ones out there that don't get you to lvl 80 that can be better then that template. But if you do go Mswords/Mpike you need 4000 Doc for the healing ability and that will give you a solid overall template.

I'm mpike/mswords/doc 4xxx and I can tell you this much-

IT ROCKS!!!!

Its solid for PvP and for PvE, and no you dont need a good hammer, I got a kamino greatstaff that I find is better 80% of the time than even a GREAT hammer (I only use hammers PvPing jedi or mdoc/tkm templates)

Only one real issue, not a lot of def, at least compared to my old mpike/tkm/doc 4xxx template

With healing efficiancy clothes and food, I have no issue with healing, and I deal some hefty damage

I am doing the same thing with medic only, well master swords, TKM, medic 0430.... I have three useful heals - shot, toss and spray... Once I have my +25 heal eff armor and some extra heal eff from food I heal for over 1k a time...

If I had gone doctor 4000 I would only be up 500 is on the heals, plus would have no ranged or area heals, plus the SP I have saved means I can keep artisan 0040 to make money, but if you were pure PvP you could spend this on some fencer or pikes....

Doc is not required IMHO

Well... im a Mpike/Mswords/TKM/Smuggler and I pwn some good melees or ranged so yea its great! alot of stuns and +speed and +dmg so.. but i also have some kik ass pups onem i dont know all of them are good so GO FOR IT!!!

Are u in a special server ?

Definately a good offensive template, if you have good armor and foods you should be OK. I like the animation of power attack with a lance, my favorite move.

and sword flurry with a pike looks pretty awesome too
