What does more damage? 2.6 speed /495 max Scythe or 3.5 speed / 565 Hammer at Master? Do we hit the speed cap with both of these weapons?

Also, I have a +6 speed now, which gives me +81 Two-Handed speed at Master. What is the speed of weap I can use before it goes past the cap? Meaning how slow of a weap can I use before I need to get more speed to swing once per sec.

Thank you!

forget resists for this. Let's say the mob you are after is 0% resist to both Kinetic and Blast.

i dont remember the formula, but at +70 speed, attack speed 5 weapons will hit at 1/second. To tell you which of these would deal more damage, i'd need the min damage as well to find average damage per hit.

ie Min dam + max dam / 2 = average damage of the weapon.

at speed +81, you're not fast enough to doyour most damaging moves at the speed limit, although headhit3 with the scythe blade is not too bad(1.235s delay).

all of our moves have slightly different delays, so it's meaningless to ask how slow of a weapon you can use and still be at the speed limit, without specifying a certain attack. the short answer is with a 5.3s hammer, you need speed +93 to cap headhit3 and +95 for hit3 (+94 isnearlyenough, but not quite)

anyway, your scythe bladewill do about 40% more damage over time than the hammer

I can say this because I know the average unsliced stats of scythe blades and hammers, which let me figurehow good of a slice each one got, thus revealing their minimum damages, which let me calculate the DPS of each weapon, which is about 40% better on the scythe blade, which will do that much more damage over time than the hammer, because you are not speed capped or even very close to it, so there ya have it, all explained in one run-on sentence

I am sorry, but you are a jerk for accusing me of having double sliced weapons. Why do jeaous people have to make up a reason why they do hot have good weapons?

First, each weap has a powerup on it.

The Scythe was 2.6 speed and was 333 pre-slice. This is standard build for yellow cube solidifying agent Scythes. It got a 30% or so damage slice which brought it to about 430. Add a 16% powerup to that and you get about 500. Learn what a good slice is before accusing people troll.

The Power Hammer got a 34% speed slice from 5.4 figure it out. This also hase a powerup. It was made with geno reinforcement cores made with yellow cubes and solidifying agents.

Learn what a weapon is and instead of accusing someone of something because you are jealous say something nice like...

"Hey, those are some nice weaps? How is the damage so high?" I'd be happy to tell you. I am so sick of people who don't know what a goos weap is instantly accuse people of it being sliced.

I thought these were pretty average. Thanks for at least making me feel like I have some ok weaps.

nah, don't be sorry - call me whatever names you like, it won't hurt my feelings a bit. I did not think the stats you postedincluded powerups;most people tend to leave out things like that, as it only adds anunnecessary variable to the comparison.anyway, have a good weekend

one more thing... the range mod on a power hammer is often -15 to -32, sometimes down to -8 or -10. The range mods on a scythe are often +2 to +8. All of that factors in too... I don't know exactly how. But a +8 scythe will hit a lot more than a -32 hammer.

Just for reference, my hammer was at around 600+ without a powerup...only a good damage slice..Now, witha powerup its at around 720...And as far as i know, its not an acklay bone made hammer either...Anyway, just trying to show that a 565 damage hammer witha powerupanda damage slice really isnt much anymore..Not when acklay hammers are hitting 4 figures + now..
