Ok if you do alot of PVE like killing NS then you might have noticed that NS are hitting for ALOT more damage than they did before.

I'm a Master Swordsman. I had an elder intimidated and she was hitting me like I didn't have any melee toughness. She was doing 600-900 dmg ( 200-300 dmg through armor) and she was using default attacks, not specials.

The only thing I can think of is that a recent patch has made it so NS bypass melee toughness. It's just NS though, Krayts and other animals don't bypass melee toughness.

We need some people to test this.

lol I had a Friggin NS smack me for 1k DMG today and it wasn't a stun Baton it was a Vibro Lance and I have 90% resist too it go Figure .

Is this just as of today? I went out day before yesterday and killed elders until I had 1000 BF without any problem.

Strange, dont see difference. Still soloing elders until bf less than 700-800.

While fighting elders with AP0 weapon equiped, never used stimpacks...

I don't know about melee toughness, but elders have been bleeding the hell out of me. It seems they are doing it more often, and bucking intimidate very quickly then stacking several bleeds to get some extra effect. Mmmmmm, a 1200 point bleed. Good thing i have feign. Wow, Elders are chalenging agian, how fun

The whole thing appears to be random. A few guildies and I went off to exterminate as man NS as possible 2 nights ago. Some were easy or at least back to their normal somewhat docile state. Others were just plain nasty. We learned to us a tactical retreat very well though

took out my master 2h to kill some ns, was killing em easy until i came to one spawn.one sentinel,one spellweaver,two protectors, and an elder. i handled the sentinel, the spellweaver, and one protector. now i have 80% wook armor, muon, synthsteak, and canape. (damn wookies have wretched mind secondaries). i pulled the last protector and used center of being, intimidate, popped a snowcake, and synthsteak. the last protector barely scratched me. this one however hit me for 1200, 700, 300, 800, and then 500(i'm rounding off). and this was while she was intimidated, me using center of being, and a synthsteak. my armor was brand new so i knew that was not it. needless to say i was killed.

it all seems random so far. i have a jedi with only 80 melee defense and i have not noticed any difference in damage. and i grind a lot more with my jedi then my swordsman.

An Ex-Player

For me it seems to be random. I have yet to have one kill me, but withina period of an hour, I've gone from an almost laughable easy fight, to a whoever gets the last hit in wins version of the exact same incident.

So now I don't just wonder if this one is actually going to drop loot (which I've noticed has once again started to suck), but I also wonder if this is going to be the easy or "bugged" one too.
