When your buying new weapons what do you normally pay? How much for a new 2 hand curved sword? Power hammer? etc? Would you be willing to pay over 30 - 60k for a good 2 hand curved sword? Thanks for the info. I want to know how much I should be paying for things.

I spent 20k on what I've seen as the 'best' curved sword on my server.

77-314 at 2.5 speed, sliced but not powered up.

It is my 'pvp' sword. I use one significantly less powerful (that cost less than half) for monsterbashing.

I paid 50k for my sword, and 55k for my powerhammer. On my server (Ahazi), there is a shop called TEK near Bestine. All his weapons are pre-sliced, and he has a huge variety (pre-patch, he even had a 3.8 speed powerhammer for 75k). I am fully willing to pay the huge premium just to be able to quickly find what I need, and not worry about trying to get a good slice. I simply pay for the best slice, and go back to my missions.

Umm, my server is cheap then. I pay 5k a curved sword and 8k a power hammer. See my post about my new hammer for stats on those on this board.

I've paid 5k for a sword as well, but did you get one with a 1.7 speed for 5k? You would have to buy a bunch of 5k swords, have them all sliced, and hope for one really good slice. This takes time, effort and more money. Browsing 30 pre-sliced swords and choosing the one you want is great. And like I said about the PH, it was pre-patch, when a 3.8 speed was fantastic. I haven't been back to see what he has now.

I paid 18.5 K for my latest 2h curved sword. I believe it was 64-260 2.6 speed before slicing, now its 75-310 after slicing. I had paid the exact same amount for my original 2h curved sword (from the same WS) and that sword was 64-260 but was sliced down to 2.2 speed.

BTW, no, I just buy one sword at a time , using until it can't be repaired anymore. Not only am I not rich enough to buy and slice 30 swords at a time but in the end I have found that a couple of points of speed or damage don't matter in the end, smart tactics will always win over stats.

I pay about 10-20k for power hammers/curved swords... Although if it was the best sword I've ever seen, unsliced... I'd probably pay 200k

i usually pay 9-10k for 2h curved at 62-247 2.6 or 2.7 speed.

if ur on tarquinas go to a guy named airk , hes a master, and as good as any other crafter.

The highest priced 2h curved/power hammer on bria is about 15k. The cheapest are about 5k. Same quality, just one guy likes making weapons more than he likes making money.

all I can say is thank god for Lowcas Weaponsmiths.............I have yet to see a Power Hammer sell for more than 28K and that was from a smuggler and not from the actual Weaponsmith..........

On average a really good curved sword will sell about 15K-20K and a Power Hammer that hardly anyone ever buys on Lowca sells for about the same...........I but mine from Kammi almost exclusively and she sells them for 22K.............very good quality and stats for pre sliced...............

I would never pay over 30K for either Curved or PH.......thats ridiculous when the server has the Weaponsmith and materials to make them, but if your server doesn't, than hard times requires money..........

I'm on Eclipse and I always go to Kanae's weapons shop outside of Doaba on corellia. I bought a Power hammer thee last night for 9.5k I cant remember exact stats of top of head but were close to 6.5 spd 130ish to 450ish for damage. I got it sliced with a 35% max damage slice now it tops out at 616 damage before power up such a little skull crusher

i went shopping for one on the bazzar since i am getting close to my novice swordsman and found three power hammers for the followin gprices...

on valcyn i bought two of them... full conditon and all...
