Thread: who has tried center of being?
i hit it once on some tuskans and i didnt get hit.
but i need to try it some more
I'm going to degenerate, here, so I can accurately surmise this new ability, based on my limited use of it...
Master Brawler + Master Swords (using Center of Being, Intimidate II, and Warcry II) 4TEHWIN!
It's fairly great.
is it even out in the patch ??? It wasn't even mentioned in patch note, go read it.
Seems to work great for you swordsmen, I dueled a master swordsman a few times and I could hardly ever hit him when he was using CoB, he was counterattacking like a madman...he hit me nearly everytime, though when I was using it. /shrug.

It is lovely. I am a Wookiee, prone to dying, and have no combat support skills to compliment my sword. I used to die on average 5 times a night. So far, I have only died once, but I was fighting multiple Dark Troopers and Stormtrooper commanders with only a Bounty Hunter as backup, and no buffs or anything else.
I am 0/4/4/3, and Center of Being is +105, and my Duration for COB is +26. At this level, I am not taking near the damage I used to, even though it doesn't last very long. I dueled a Bounty Hunter 3 times, and Iwon twice because hecouldn't knock me down the first two times (the old hated strategy where I lay on my back for three minutes while they had thier way with my limp body).
You know, if you block (counter, dodge, whatever) 2 out of five hits, and each one of those hits is 200, Center of being just saved your life. Give it a shot. For people who don't wear any armor, and are used to taking extreme abuse, I think this is awesome stuff.
I don't hate the red streamers. They are a bit cheesy on the hammer, but I like them anyway.
i used it again on some huurtons and did 3 counter attacks and got two dodges in about 2 seconds.
i heard some pikeman or swordsman got 67 counters in one fight on another server.
hope they dont nerf this

Messed with it a little last night against animals. Found a Great Plains Hunter, did CoB as he aggroed, 2hlunge2 and warcry2, 3 seconds later he was dead and I hadn't been hit once. I had counterattacked or dodged all of his attacks up to the KD. I am a Wookiee and if this continues to work, I might actually live for a night.
Once I sucked it up and used the points to get Master Brawler, I have enjoyed this character much more. Now I may even have a chance in the GCW if I can keep the hits from incapping me before I even get within melee range, Time will tell.
Tried it last night and so far as I can tell, it seems quite a lot of fun.
However, I just made master swordsman two nights ago, and I heard something about counterattack being added to the master swordsman. To be honest, I never really paid attention to the combat message queue, so I couldn't really tell the difference between having it and not, other than there seemed to be a fair number of missed attacks (from the MOBs) and counterattacks (from me) that didn't seem to be there when it lapsed.
I'd definitely like to see it last longer, but I certainly enjoyed it. Now I'm hoping that they don't nerf it, since it seems like the ONE thing I've seen downloaded in any patch that actually added something fun to the swordsman class.
