Mind is no longer EVERYONES weakness, it will in publish 8 become as every other pool
Im too pissed to post the link its in the dev tracker. Maybe you all knew. I sure didnt.
What this means is combat will last forever, AND THOSE THAT WIN WILL BE THOSE WITH THE MOST SPECIAL ATTACKS AND DEFENSES. Kiss Rifleman goodbye, with the worst assortment of special defenses and state change effects around. Kiss swordsman goodbye when against othe rmelee professions, for TKA have a ton of state effects, fencer, and pikeman as well, ours are pathetic and useless, two of our trees are redundant and humiliatingly useless. We wont be able to take advantage of anyones weakness. We will be sliced by pikeman while dizzied stunned and blinded, just as fencer, and tka will do to us as well, THESE LACK OF SPECIAL ATTACKS WHERE DUE TO OUR SPECIALTY THE STIKING OF MIND.
Im going to play Raven Shield, where I canbe a cool character, have fun, and enjoy my gaming experience, FOR FREE!

honestly i dont think that's a really big deal... reason why i say that is the people in the class for the fun of it, and the die hard fans of the class will still be swordsman. i know no matter how badly they nerf swordsman, and brawler, i'm still sticking with it, because it's still a great class.

Don't you think its just a bit premature to become that agitated over the general description (which by the way lacks implementation details) for publish 8, when publish 7 hasn't even gone live yet.
Slow down a bit. Its not clear how that goal will take shape and vague descriptions are often very misleading in this game.
Further, its not clear the impact it will have given all of the other changes in the combat balance.
Moreover, even if it heals more quickly so that the lack of ability to heal mind is mitigated your conclusion doesn't necessarily follow. The combat balance will also include retooling many or all of the combat professions, many of which are already have and will get more tweaks.
Thus its not at all clear what effect these ham changes will have, let alone the deep fear you seem to espouse.

Some people like certainprofessions, even if they are not uber death gods of destruction in PvP.

but alas i cant use this mighty power for evil.... im gonna have my nerf curse affect the least amount of people by sticking to swords and riffles... and its just gonna get worse for us all...cuz im just gonna stick too it... i hate grinding.

you guys are strange
first you say pvp and the whole gcw is crap and you where crying for nerfs and changes.
they are trying to do something for the balance now and before you even saw how it will work
you guys start crying again.
why don't you just sit back, relax and see how it will be in live and start crying after if necessary?

HEY!!
This Discussion is total nonsense! In Publish 8 will be a COMPLETE Balance and Combat Revamp. There will be a lot more Changes than in this very early "Patchnotes" if you even call them that.
Iam sure they do it to make it BETTER not more worse than it is!

I don't see the big deal, we'll still rock PvE and there are better games to play against other people than the borkedness that is our GCW.
