I have recently bought a Galaxies guidebook (Hey, it was only 5$!) And it goes over alot of information in great detail on the classes. And I have read them all and have come to a conclusion on the Perfect Character. Here it is I will exlplain it too reply and tell me what you think:

Template:

Master Swordsman

Master Brawler

Master Rifleman

Teras Kasi 3/0/0/0

Disadvantages:

-Needs buffs to be truly powerful

-No healing ability

-No pets to tank for you (Unless you get an AT-AT)

Advantages

-Nearly 5,000 HAM

-Deals all Mind Damage (Melee and Ranged)

-Has many ways of reducing damage (Avoidance and Reduction)

-Is capable of defeating both melee and ranged opponents

Oops sorry guys I must have pressed the wrong button and entered it without finishing it. Please let me finish.

Disadvantages (In-depth)

-The character really needs to be buffed in order to perfrom well. It needs Doctor/Dancer buffs the most and Muscian buffs alot. But this disadvantage isn;t really that bad just as long as you know where to find a Doctor and a Dancer and you have the money to pay for the buff.

-As many have noticed this template lacks healing abilities and was probably one of the hardest decisions to make because of this. The saving part is something you will noticed later that when fully buffed, you won;t need healing, but if you travel with a group of other people and Medic isn't a bad idea to bring along. However with the lack of healing you may have a difficult time taking out enemies like Commandos and Bounty Hunter becuase of their high damage.

-And lastly this character isn't best for hunting Krayts and/or Dark Jedi because he isn;t a Creature Handler and we all know that creature handlers are the best in PvE. There really isn't much of a solution to this disadvantage except when hunting Krayt Dragons do it in a group that has either alot of people or some powerful Creature Handlers.

Advantages (In-Depth)

-5,000 HAM, yes you read it correctly. This template will allow you to have 5,000 HAM (Maybe even more if you get some high end doctor buffs). The key is buff stacking. As mentioned before this character needs to be buffed to play properly, but this character can probably be buffed more than anyother character in the game. In order to benefit you need the following this may be confusing so bear with me:

Migrate your stats to 1,000+ Mind.

Find a Dancer/Musician and get them to /setperform on you. Then /watch and /listen to them.

After 5-8 minutes (Depending on the level of the Entertainer) use a Muon Gold, eat some mind enhancing food (If you have it and I suggest you do) and follow both of those with a power boost. Once the power boost starts to kick in, /stopwatch and /stoplisten to the entetainers. (They deserve a tip too, it you can afford it) If you now look at your character sheet you should have a maximum of 7,500 mind [(0+500+1000) *1.5*2]. Wait for your food, spice or powerboost to wear off (Usually about 5-10 minutes). Now your mind should read 4750 (7500-500-1000-1250). Ok I said it would be 5,000 but 4750 is close enough right?

Now that you have your mind buffed run out and get a doctor to buff all six of your health/action attributes. Now, depending on the stat migration (We'll go over that later) you should have around 2000 health and mind and 4750 mind. But this isn't 5000 in all three as I promised yet? Don't worry. Just before you go into any battle (PvP or PvE) /meditate and /powerboost. This will give you 50% of your mind to health, action to mind. So now you are around 4375/4375/7125. This is probably as low as you can get with all the buffs I talked about earlier. Depending on how you do Stat Migration and how hig of doctor buffs you could get up to 5500 HAM. Now we are a walking tank. The best part is, HAM barsare displayed relatively to each other when characters look at you.So at first glance to them, it just looks like you have more mind than health/action and therefore you will be easy to kill with body shot or leg shot. They will soon find out otherwise.

-The next advantage this character has is mind damage. All his atacks are directed at the dreaded, unhealable mind pool. Now that players can get buffed by a Dancer this isn't as powerful as it was a while ago, but is still a powerful template. As rifleman you have access to Head shot and Mind Shot both very powerful atacks. And with master you gain +10 rifle speed so you will spam these attacks every 10 seconds. You are also a Swordsman, probably the hardest hitting class short of Bounty Hunters and Commandos. But unlikc those two you can alos target eh mind pool. So while a Commando is waiting 5 seconds for his rocket launcher to reload, youare pounding away at unhealable damage poll every second. (Dependant on +25 2h speed enhancers). This advantage is so effective because as most players should know, in PvP target the mind pool. If there is a medic nearby then they can heal the Health/ Action but mind cannot immediatly be healed during a battle. And last but not least is Master Brawler. This is a horribly overlooked profession that I expect to be making a come-back soon. There are only three reasons to get Master Brawler, they may seem pointless at first, but are powerful. These reasons are Warcry2, Intimidate2, and 2h-Lunge 2. On top of these you get +toughness, +speed and +accuracy. I really shouldn't need to exlpain why all those reasons are necessary to make the perfect tank, my advice is use them when you can!

As you can see these advantages leave us with a character that can take some serious punishmet and deal out even more damage! Oh and did I mention that as a Rifleman you get +20 melee defence which leaves you with around 45 melee defence between two classes, very high by standard!

Leveling:

Now that we know what the character is lets go over how to get there. The first step to uberness is creature handler 3/2/1/1. I know this was mentioned in the template above and you are correct to say that. But do to current bugs now as I write this you can achieve that level fairly quickely. By doing this you be able to train to the template faster.

Level up in thsi order:

Creature Handler 3/2/1/1

Master Rifleman

Teras Kasi 3/0/0/0

Master Brawler

Master Swordsman

NOTE: It is also recommended that you become a medic and work on your first aid skills as you grind XP)

Eventually you will untrain Medic, Creature Handler and Scout but I siggest you do that once you run out of Skill points. And be sure to Master Rifleman first. The reason being is that with Creature Handler you can easily level rifleman. With Rifleman you can easily level TKA and Brawler and with TKA and Brawler you can easily level Swordman.

And that is how to make the perfect character, I hope it helps and be sure you have some good equipment, the best equipment you can use it will help alot but I will leave that decision to you. And again sorry how I had to do thisin two messages when I started typing this guide I must have hit a wrong button. But I hope all of this helps and I am pretty sure it works.

This is completely wrong

Powerboost adds half of your original stat, not the buffed. Ent buffs add up to 125% of your originalmind stats. So you won't be able to do it in the manner you mentioned.

However, you could get mind buffs and powerboost to get up to 2750. Then take two 400 Mind buff brandies, getting you to 3550. Stats should be about 3500/3500/3550, depending upon doc buffs (normally 2600 to stats). Now, if you were to take double buff vercupti (+1000 to each main stat for about 10 minutes per use), you'd get to 5500/5500/5550. Add in Moun, and your at 5500/5500/6050

No strategy with that, too much delay in switching weapons.

Honestly my perfect template is:

Swordsman/Rifleman/Pistoleerxx4x/Medic41xx
FS: +5 injury treatment ( since 1 point left over ).

Great defenses still need a little extra def vs kd so thakitillo for sure, quick heal ( no timer based heal that causes bf/willpower wounds ) and decent speed healing average of 800-1k heals off 400+ stim b's. Your offensive here is pure mind, with the highest damage multiplier to mind from swordsman, medium piercing weapons ( Scythe + Powerhammer ), stack 4 mind bleeds, only Stun weapon with AP1. Let's be honest here counterattack with +25 bonus in tapes is just beautiful =)

There is no perfect PvP template... any combat profession is viable with the right amount of skill and equipment.
