ok, as every1 knows the detested CU is quickly approaching and am wondering wether i should sell my ADK'd hammer with stats of: spd= 6 and 868 max dmg (un pup'd...with pup 972 i think) and then drop swordsman completely as we are being made pratically useless after the Cu
anyone have any expert opinions on this (educated opinions preferably), thanks

my opinion. if you believe what you said to be truth..i would sell it. even if ya decide to stay a swordsman.there will be new weapons after the CU. who isn't going to want to use one of the new weapons?

Be like me and just hold onto all your stuff until after the CU. And if it does screw us swordsman over...Oh well you have a nice peice for the wall or you can destroy the hammer and get your ADK back.

Why not just wait till the CURB is out to make your choice?

My opinion coincides with those in previous replies to this post. Just play the game as it is now, when CU comes you will have to relearn how to play the entire game and re-equip yourself. So just wait and have fun now.

My question: who the hell knows who the CU will/will not screw over or make practically useless?

ok, i'm gonne take a few peoples advice here and just wait it out and see what happens, suppose i'll just have to grin and bare this.

What i would do if i was you...is kill elders everday...stock up on all the loot...sometimes venture to the acklay for some bones...and own some jedi. Just have fun. Since i've become speed capped, i've had an awesome time going out and killing this things...with a 560max ph

Hahah, you guys are behaving as though the apocalypse is upon us or something, wow. Unless I see a dev come out and say "Profession X is going to be nerfed back to the stoneage," I'm going to remain optimistic about the CU. Realistically every single combat and combat-related profession is likely to be "nerfed" one way or another.. therefore I don't think we need to worry about a thing since we'll all still be on the same level (not that we are as it stands of course)."

im not an expert but I'll add something anyway 
I think the CU will make the game more like other MMORPG's IE where groups are key for high end mobs, this will mean melee will be needed as tanks so I doubt swordsmen will be useless.
And I agree keep it and have fun now, play for today as you never know what will be nerfed tomorrow

I really dont know what to expect, but i am going to keep on doing what i do and wait and see. It seems like other professions are wandering the same thing. 
Oh well, if i dont do well after the CU i'll deal with it then. lol
