The biggest change for me is that my gurreck will no longer be able to tank for me. I was able to get 100k 2h xp an hour with him tanking. Having to use a lower end pet will definitely reduce the speed at whichI gain xp.

I understand the reasoning behind therestriction, but will make the trail to master swordsman that much longer.

As the big patch is going live today or tomorrow i created this thread in order to collect information about your impressions.

Did it bring any changes ?

Which ones ?

Positive / Negative?

...or anything you want to say about it

Thanks

Knockdown change is gonna be big for me, has anyone been able to test 2h lunge on the test server?

We can get 2hLunge from Master Brawler. I just got it today, did some tests and it works pretty good.

As far as the changes...not sure if this applies, I guess we'll find out.

Not noticing much change if the patch had been put in already.

about the new berserk..

so basically it wont deal double of the base damage? it just add 75 damage?

well mostly people who get berserk2 (master brawler) already considered advance and dealing 75 more damage doesnt help much while hunting..

is berserk2 suppose to help the brawler to achieve the master Heavy swordsmen easier?

please consider the berserk2 ...

what do u think?

I don't see any mention of "General pass to melee, polearm, and two handed sword action costs." in today's big patch notes. Any word on this (maybe I missed it). If I read it right it means this change is not getting picked up!?

The biggest thing effecting me is the range mod problem, and I dont see it in the patch notes so my outlook is bleek.

I read the entire patch note and there wasn't a single mentioning of swordsman in it. In fact, they even mentioned increasing Unarmed damage TWICE! What a slap in the face.

Why? you ask, do I, a fish, carry a fishing pole? Simply because... I love fishes cause they're sooo delicious! Gotta go fishing! Gotta go fishing!

I think they may have addressed the HAM cost issue by allowing weaponsmith to make components with no HAM costs(it said they could experiment to make components with no HAM cost) I am not a Weaponsmith so I can't be sure if this is what it means. Maybe a Weaponsmith could let us know for sure.

If this is the case i think this was the right way to do it. It does mean we'll have to buy new weapons, but if the Ham cost are almost zero I would happily spend the money.
