I have Doctor's Med. Crafting 1, Knowledge 1 currently (after dropping CH). I don't see how anyone can survive as a swordsman without having some medic, to be honest. I will never drop below Master Medic as long as I play. As for how I use medic, I use enhancement packs to buff, heal packs to heal my wounds, and stimpacks to heal damage of my own or others. I use a Food/Chem factory to mass produce Stim D's that I use for healing. I hand craft my packs in general since I go through them much less often.

How necessary would you say going that high up would be?

I've heard of some people just doing First Aid and Diagnosis, in order to save some much-needed skill points.

you need master medic to have enough med use to use stim d's. you could experiment some stim d's down but they wouldnt be as good as the base med use experimented up on effectiveness.

How do you use it personally, and how helpful would you say it is?

And which skills do you have speficially? (Doctor??...)

Any info/experiences on Swordsman/Medic hybrid would help a lot

Im a master surgeon and I really like d buff with the swordsmen. We simply have to have the extra buff because we have to take a lot of damage. We dont have a good knockdown per se. Plus if you are trapped in the Tusken Fort, the Rez function helps to get players up and help ya to fight your way out. The sacrifice is Range. Im going to have pitiful range capabilities but with the buffs maybe I can get a mind bleed in on them before they run and range me to death..

I have pharm 4 and first aid 4 so I can use Stimpak C's and woundpak B's. I can heal myself for up to 800 hps with them. It also is critical to have Stimpaks for pets. Healing your pet is a fastest way to gain med xp. I have never made a stimpak, so I don't have any organic training. I just buy them by the crate froman excelllant crafter.

Hello all,

Does anybody know a good site that has a walk-thru on mass producing Stims?

As far as setting surveying... setting up harvestors.... running a factory and stuff?

Thanks

Yep, StimB's are the way to go if you don't want to invest a whole lot of points into medic...

I am working on Master Doctor. Combined with swordsman, the doc bufs will come in very handy. HAM use gets to be less of a big deal when you can increase your health and action significantly. I tried Sword/Rifle first, but found the design of the rifleman class to be lacking some inspiration. Doc is a much better complement for swordsmen than rifleman.
