First the bad news: The 2h Sith Sword will remain as it currently is, a non-master certed weapon. The answer Shadowbrak gave in the dev chat was a little off.
Now the good news: There will be a 2H master certed SWORD in the publish. This is the one that Shadowbrak meant to mention. Other than the fact that it exists, I have no other info right now. Im guessing that this sword uses the Sith sword skin also, and maybe thats where the confusion came from.
So there you have it. Swordsmen will get a sword to use.

Thanks for the info Kreymerr, I can't wait
The sword has to have two things:
1. It has to look good
2. It has to do decent damage
That's all I ask for.

When you say a new sword that has the same skin as the Sith Sword and has Master Swords Cert, are you referring to the N-K Executer or a totally new one? I guess they made all of swordsmen weapons look identical so they could spend more time working on the ugly slowass multi-passenger vehicles.

might be the NK... since it is already a master certed weapon just didn't have the master certed stats on it... will need to find a few jedi to help me get one...

The N-K has always been Master Swords Cert. that is why I was curious if there was a totally new sword that I have yet to see. It would be nice if they could bump up the damage a bit to compete with a Power Hammer or some of the one handed quest reward weapons. The NK is mid 800 damage with Ranged Defense +11 and 2-Handed Melee Speed +11 mods. I also have the Sith Sword and it and the NK look identical.

i dont know what it is. i dont think its the N-K, but if it is then its getting its stats boosted. i think its a whole new loot drop though, either way we all win.

IMO first they have to make you worth owning it. Questing for the Schem, Finding the parts to make a really good weapon and getting a weaponsmith to make it was something I loved about the Scythe when it was introduced - It felt like some "proper" profession based content. But yes, I agree that a Sword certified for Master use should have the potential to be awesome, if made properly.
Thanks for the info Cos ![]()

i agree to some degree, the sword should be difficult enough so that u have a sense of pride and achievement, but the task of earning it cant be so difficult that a swordsman cant solo it since there are players like me whose friends are busy with their own lives. that and if the sword becomes too difficult then merchants will charge alot of credits to make it for us. (llike the scythe costing 2 mill on radiant just to make if we give them the schematic
)
