Just curious. I'm still looking for mine. I've killed about 100 FS mystics and nothing.

What I'm also wondering is what to give up when i tells meto master something else. Master 2H took longer to get than MCH and the scout and med skills combined so it most likely won't be that.

Curious to know how you "100 killers" are coming across so many. I've spent considerable time roaming the northern part of dantooine and have run across 12 to 15 (2 locked containers and a combat staff).

There's a cave full of force crystal hunters and untrained wielders of the dark side on Dantooine, I'm assuming they just farm that place

kthxbye

Ah, I didn't consider that people who were grouped would consider kills as their own.

Well I'll tell you how I've found so many. I've been hunting on Dantooine for months now and recording every place where I have found them (among other POIs and mobs).Ihave been recording countlessnames, places, structures, icons... whatever.. assuming I might need to know where, "Shmeelathe Hutt, theHand of Solitude or a Madalorian King hangs out." I also surf the Jedi Forum and everytime someone finds one and gives the WP I add that as well. I have abouta dozen places that I run a circuit on. Sometimes they are there, sometimes they aren't and sometimes its already camped.

I avoid the caves. It's a a zoo and the FS Mystics aremuch stronger, aggro and one shot you.

I would say 10% of my FS Mystic kills were in a group the rest were solo...

Any more questions or doubts?

I am now a 2Her because of a Holocron. The good news is I am enjoying it quite a bit. I have gone from no Brawler to 0/0/0/2 Swordsman since Thursday night.

Here's what I did:

Even though I haven't found a holo yet when I do I will probably hold off a bit on ruining a perfect character till I get bored with her (Iag -M2H-MCH- etc). Instead I started a new character ("Friday".. that's her name and I started her onSaturday but "Saturday" isn't as cool sounding... I am getting a hootout of all thethugs asking me if I'll be their girl friday ). (which is a young personal assistanttype.. fyi)

Anyway..the first thing I did was train in each starting profession: Brawler, Entertainer, Artisan, Marksman, Medic and Scout (just to refresh your memory).

I already mastered Brawler (with Iag) so I know how to do that. Incidently this is BY FAR the hardest starting profession to master and /cheer! to anyone who has done it.

I'm actually having a blast learning how to orchestrateall the classes. I make stims and my own newbie weapons and powerups. I make my own clothes! (some of you may know that Iag is a fashion crazed lunatic) I grab my own meat, bones and hides to make things. I survey while I do destroy missions where I get marksman and brawler points. I search lairs for eggs and habitats. I heal others when I'm in the medcenter and tavern. You can self click your way up the ID limb while you run.

My goal is that at somepoint when I start to run out of skill points (when I have just about mastered the starting professions or soon after) I will get a holo somehow. Perhaps they'll be 50 credits at the bazaar! I think they can be sold and traded before they are looked at. If not I'll get in a group after the holo craze has cooled down some.

At that point I will have a huge start on my next profession(s) and KNOW just how to work that skill. Some argue that you have to master every profession some say as many as 8. Aven after you master a starting profession points still go into to the big Novice elite box btw.

All in all its been a creative learning experience. I just do whatever ever I feel like doing and ALL the points go into my goal. I'm not particularly attatched to any profession since I started this project with an anything goes mentality. I'm not working on any faction either. I really don't think it has any bearing on FS.

got a run and check my harvesters~~!!

I wasn't casting doubt at you, personally, it was just that I had an epiphany in the last post.

My "route" takes me on a b-line from the mining outpost to the Lizard cave, then on a b-line from the Lizard cave to the Force Crystal cave. Along that route, I've only found one static spawn, but camping is out of the question as it seems the spawn time is LONG. Granted, I've only run it 3 times, but I'll continue running it every once in a while. I guess I'm a wannabe Jedi as well

Yea its pretty frustrating now that Dantooine has becomeDisneyooine. As I mentioned above I'm working on an "open" character so I log on every 30 minutes or so to my main (Iag) and run the route. I also can play in the day when the hoards of people are inschool or cramming for an organic chem test

I'm in no real hurry either way for I know that that whole charachter re-creation isonly part of the whole deal orsome kind of cruel joke (which I doubt)

Also I'm not a real pioneer (well in RL I am... not that type silly!) and I'd rather have some people I know who already have it when I get it... so there is no rush for me. I think it is going to be a nightmare actually tobe FSbut.. we'll see.

I think though.. thatmeleerswill have the best experience on weilding a LS (if any0ne makes it that far) since we understand the whole upclose and personal thing... which is why I think this thread sits well in 2H.

best of luck

So Holocrons really *do* tell you "You must master so and so?" That's disapointing. I would have expected more creativity.

Good luck on your new path. I don't think I would give up 2h sword if 3 holocrons told me the same thing. That's how much I enjoy it. I'm going to ride this out. Tweaking here and there finding the perfect set of complimentary skills for 2h sword. I'm planning on sticking with this character for a long long time, as long as the game doesn't die.... nor will my swordsman.
