Thread: New loot fixed?

In the patch notes it said that the loot drops on high level mobs was fixed... I've killed a bunch of FS npc and jantas on Dantooine with the same abysmal results as before the patch. Am I just unlucky? Has anyone gotten decent loot off non-factioned (Rebel or Imperial) mobs?

No, tomorrow morning at 4AM PST they're putting in a patch with the EXACT text from Pub 14 about fixing krayt and NS loot drop rates. This means that in all likelihood most of the high-end loot drops are coming back with it. Keep your fingers crossed, but I made like 12 mil in a buff session from killing rebel NPCs in Kor Vella

are you over exageration or did you just loot something awesome off the rebels

Im rebel and looted some rug dyes off of stormies. sold them for 100k-200k each. and also looted alot of posters that arnt worth anything.. unless they still are worth something..

I pulled a food exp 4 CA, a med exp 5 CA, and a belt with a bunch of droid Exp, Prec, etc mods on it. Also, a couple of nice DOT weps I sold ingame instead of on the AA. I over exaggerated by like...1 mil. But everything sold.

I killed 15+ NS rangers, 4 NS spellweavers, 3 SMC arch witches, 2 SMC guardians, 1 SC web dancer,6 SC sentinels,2 SC crawler,4 SC stalkers,5 SC acolytes, 2 NS stalkers and 1 partridge in a pear tree. All I got was 2 lances with base stats and credits.

I win And mine take like four seconds apiece to kill. Factional NPCs are where it's at, or maybe that's changed as of this morning's patch. But still, Nightsisters take WAY longer than factionals, and I ALWAYS wind up going home with something worth over 4 mil after every b uff session. No thanks, Axva 
Maybe when I finish Doc I'll go after the NS, but right now I'm content ganking Rebels. Plus, I'm working on my ATST.

Yeah i have to agree. There is much better chance of looting AA's and dotted weapons off the Factional NPC's than NS's I spent an hour farming some Imp bases last night and get a few guns and AA's. Nothing to write home about but the drop rate is good. Some of them Epsilon class 8 Storm Commando's are harsh on the ham tho.

Well if this is true loot should FINALY be fixed

Wait you looted a food exp 4 tape and you only got 1 mil for that and some other stuff too. If so you got the shaft.

The economy may be different on his server. I know that on Chimaera something like that will go for a small fortune but its not the same on all of them.

I didn't hunt Nightsisters yesterday, I did smack around some Krayts. I and another swordsman went out and killed 25 Giants and got 5 pearls. So the drop rate for them seems about right concidering you get either pearl, tissue, scale, layers or nothing. So it's a 20% chance to loot a pearl. However we looted 2 pearls off the first 3 we killed. We got useless junk for the next 17 kills then went 3 for 5. So don't give up if you hit a bad stretch. Looks like you have to kill alot of the beasties to even out the drops.
Went back out solo this morning before server shutdown and killed 6. Got a pearl on the first, next 4 were junk, then another pearl. Am going to try elders today and see how it goes. They are more fun and go down faster. Krayts are boring but the sisters keep you on your toes with those bleeds. Wish we had a chance to loot the clothes those elders wear.

Krayts were great for me yesterday, Thursday, NS not so good.
3 runs in the valley, 11 pearls, 39 tissues.
