Squad Leader Archive

Forgive me if this has already been answered, but I was wondering if any pets in your group received the benefits of your Squad Leader abilities? I was planning on eventually becoming an overt Imperial Squad Leader and guide a squad of Storm Troopers everywhere. But since StormTroopers are NPCs, do the Squad Leader buffs still apply to them?

Pets receive SL buffs. However, I believe there still has to be another player in the group for it to actually qualify as a real "group" and thus gain XP and buffs.

so just to clarify lets say that i become an imperial squad leader and lead two stormtroopers around. volatris are you saying that my buffs will indeed effect my troopers and myself just minus the XP gain? this would be no problem once the character is maxed i just want to be sure that if i cant find a group that my stormtroopers will receive any benefits i am capable of bestowing.

P.S. what weapon(ranged)would you recommend to a squad leader?

I cannot confirm your pets will receive any buffs without another player in your group.
