Thread: SL & Faction Points
I was thinking about this. If you accept a very difficult NPC mission, eg. destroy an imperial base, and you are the SL that completes the mission, you should get added faction points for your ability to lead and to complete the mission for the faction. These types of missions, I feel, should normally fail without a SL.
Also, are there rankings within factions?? If there are, should SLs be promoted faster?
BTW. Vol, you have my vote.

I have no knowledge of PvP stuff or faction stuff... sorry, its not my bad ![]()
I'll listen carefully to the status and ideas, though.
Being a Squad Leader who took the profession expressly to help my PA during PvP, I can give you some insight.
No, you do not gain any additional faction perks for being an SL

Yes, there are ranks within a faction, they only increase your max earned faction points

Factions and professions are two different things within this game. You can go your entire SWG career and never declare for a faction, and thereby staying out of the PvP game altogether. You can declare but stay covert for your entire career, and therefore get a small taste of the PvP game, but not suffer the "open season" that going overt gives you. The one nice thing is, all factions need all professions. I typically go into cantina's and try to convince musicians or dancers to come along outside for a few hours to hunt with me. My squads typically run 10 to 15 people, and we, for the most part, enjoy all aspects of the game, PvE and PvP.
While factional perks as a Squad Leader for a factionmight be a nice bone to throw us, there are plenty of more important issues for the developers and content designers to focus on (see other threads in this profession forum to see what I am talking about).

For the most part, factions and professions appear to have been designed
