I currentyl made novice SL and found that i don't get any of the cool weapon sertifications that most other elite/hybrid classes get. I was wondering what a good complimantery professions was. I was thinking bounty hunter but i'm not sure if there would be enough points. Also i though that carbineer would be nice too, cause it is an effective all around weapon, something you can really lead a charge with.

What are you talking about?! System message is the best skill in the whole game! Who needs weapon certificationswhen you can put messages6 inches higher than it normally shows up?

I went for master carbineer, master scout, master SL. Im pretty happy with it so far, I have mastered scout, Have 3 skills in carbineer and none as yet in SL other than system message.

You know how Holocron has detailed metrics about what kind of groups kill what, and how people are advancing, and all that?

Wonder if he has a metric seeing how much /sysgroup gets used?

My build involves Squad Leader, Smuggler, and Pistoleer. However there really and truly is no such thing as the "ultimate build" template. What totally works for PvE will fall apart rapidly in PvP. What works wonders against single large red cons will be ripped to shreds by a swarm of BAF blues. Etc., etc. al.

What I really think works best is, try stuff out. Character builders are nice and all, but ultimatly, you will find in game experience will show you what you like, what you don't like, and what works for you.
