It is looking like that with any luck, I will be given the honor of Squad Leader Correspondent.

As such, I very much need someone on Test Center who is a dedicated Squad Leader.

If we are going to be proposing changes and advancing the profession, but cannot test the changes for the weeks before it gets to the Live servers, we have a serious problem.

This should be a very cool thing to participate in: you'll see all the changes first and reply back to all of us on the Squad Leader forum on how the stuff we're proposing is working.

I would be honored to do this. I get a LEAST 4 hours of play EVERY NIGHT (not healthy, but its not gonna get prevented) and generally I play more than that anyway. I am very interested in testing squad leader out but if i can't be a squad leader to start that meanima have to learn how to squad leader fast. Also, doesn't this mean you forfeit your old account since you can't easily change back and forth?

Yes, you would have to start a new character.

However, the community on the Test Center is by the best community in the game.

Actually i meant forfeit in that you have to do some fancy configuring to connect to it don't you? So you wouldn't be able to connect to the original servers at all. Therefore, you wouldn't be able to play your old guy.

No, they are seperate programs.

While some simple steps are necessary to start playing on the TC, you can play on regular servers just fine.

Well either way, im your man! I can DO IT! Although i might need a few tactics on getting to squad leader fast as i took me a bit with my current character (although I WAS doing architect a little more than squad leader)

Most of TC is based on Corellia.

Hunt Crazed Durnis and Tabages. You can outrun both of them with ease. You'll never get touched and these creatures have good XP. Harvest them for your Scout XP.

Anytime you're home but can't play, have a camp set up. Be it eating a meal, taking a shower, walking the dog, set up a camp before you do it to get this XP requirement done.

Took me about9 days to get to Novice SL with those strategies.

whats the turn around on character deletion/remaking. I made a char last night when there were login issues but i certainly don't want to use her. Can you make a char on a server immediatly after deleting one?

Oh and someone said that if you die with no insurance you get majorly wounded. Since you get more xp based on wounds healed wouldn't it make sense to kill yourself and the run back out into the fields and heal up? Is the build radius too close? On talus its INSANE like 2k or more...

You can make another character immediately. The name might not be available for a while, however.

While healing wounds does improve Survival XP, it would seem a bit extreme to cause that much wounding just to get camp XP... but if you want to try it, good luck!

Talus has a bugged build radius. It has been known for a month or two. Corellia's build radius is the much more reasonable 1000m.

9 days. I hope so. It's looking like I'll be a Squad Leader in about...2 or 3, but I was half way to Ranger before I changed. Thankfully those two elites blend nicley with each other. It'd be nice to see you and Merlin on the tc some time.
