Do the Squad Leader +melee defense & +ranged defense bonuses that work for the group (assuming they work and aren't bugged) work for the Squad Leader if he happens to be alone and not with at least one other player in a group? (ie he's the only one in his own group).

As stated in a number of threads asking exactly this question: No.

You must be grouped with another player to use, or benefit from, any Squad Leader abilities.

Neither +bonuses or /sysgroup or /rally work without another player in your group (and of course, you as leader).

what about grouped with a pet?


Or "Sologrouping" (it's a new way people are doing missions, they group and then solo missions so they get the group XP bonus).

So like you would group with someone, then run off on your own. Would you get the SL bonuses then?
