What Squad Leader issue do you think needs to be addressed most? This is to priority on the issues that most greatly effect the Sqad Leader Base.
I think its the way XP is earned. It certainly does NOT promote a support role whatsoever.
(you can be general like that if you at least narrow it down to one concept).
I think it is far and away the XP system. Although it is frustrating that the skill tree (particularly at novice) seems weak, I can definitely live with the challenge of playing a possibly underpowered profession.
However, the fact that using my profession skills causes me to advance in my profession more slowly is completely ridiculous. Even if we did have great skills, we are rewarded by spendingour time and HAM pools on damage causing combat skills insteadofusing SL skills.
I totally agree. You finally get that extra 7500 SLLLLOOOOWWW combat xp and get squadleader and you get what? /sysgroup. Big deal. Novice Squad Leader yields no +stats or anything, pretty weak. We should at least get +10 group burstrun and +10 group terrain management in addition to /sysgroup.
I would like to also see a skill that will do something like /sysgroup across multiple groups for better raid management. A squadleader leading multiple groups, able to send /sysraid chat commands would be useful. Well, scratch that - just get the chat system bug free first, as the channels seem to work intermittently.
At the very least, novice squad leader needs something more than /sysgroup. It has to be one of the hardest elite professions to reach right now because of the slow combat and wildnerness xp requirements from marksman and scout trees. More reward once novice sl is acheived plz.
