Thread: A Conspiracy Theory?
This makes you realize exactly how much maturity is punished when rampant tweaking for PVP problems dominates most updates for the silly l33t PVPers and they still aren't happy. Hello!!! 15 year olds are NEVER happy! Not all PVPers are 15, but the ones that cry about the Empire having all the cool toys are certainly not 30. We grew up on the movies, we know what the "reality" is. And yes, there are some happy 15 year olds that don't complain. Blessed are ye, for ye are rare :-)
If anyone had a clue, they would start clamoring for Squad Leader to be fixed because if our profession worked right, we could take out ANYTHING with a couple doctor/combat medics, creature handlers, smuggler, bounty hunter, commando, riflemen and gunfighters. It really isn't that hard and doesn't require masters.
So this leads me to the thought, Maybe the Devs are all Imperial! That's why they keep us broken to keep the Alliance Down! This is cracking me up to think about, and I'm totally not serious, but hmmm......
At the very least, we should all be telling everyone else how awesome we could make them if our profession worked so that we get the carbineers, bounty hunters, and commandos lobbying for us, too. If you don't know what I'm talking about, try taking out a group of those guys and show them what a difference steady aim can make. Just with that skill they will fall in love with you. I have people asking me to form groups, not me begging for people to join mine.
We aren't beggars, so be proud. We obviously have something going on with us that is of powerful character because we choose to be squad leaders and stay squad leaders in the face of ... nothing :-)
Are you kidding? It doesn't even take steadyaim. I have groups falling in love with me simply because I can announce in big red letters that everyone needs to be shooting at %TT. Just that tiny communication ability does wonders for group organization and people love it.
Now if there was just some way to make the next step into giving us abilities that would have a clear, hard, instantly visible game effect...
Hey now. I like those PvP fixes. Now I get crushed only 60% of the time. If they ever fix SL, I might see it go down to 30%. :>
