Thread: Squad Leader Personal Bonuses?

Do the squad leader bonuses (terrain negotiation, burst run, defenses, etc.) apply to a squad leader when they are not in a group? Or do you absolutely HAVE to be grouped with someone/thing for the bonuses to kick in?

You absolutely HAVE to be grouped and HAVE to be the group leader... even thenmost of them don't even work or are completely useless.
