In the last patch we got no updates instead we got 90% of our skills broken.

And I have not seen a report going out or a real dev message to us since the game started.

I know everybody is begging for their profession to be fixed but we are just a joke I bet the SOE guys just read our boards to get their jollies.

=sigh=

This kind of message gets us no where. Really.

Its not like the correspondent can point at gun at the devs and dictate them what to do.

SL has no priority due to the lack of customers that took up the profession.

As a result more and more are surrendering SL, far less fill the gap since its well know how broken the profession is. And it'll be a cold day in hell before someone from SOE says something like : There is in fact another profession thats totally bugged but we decided to ignore them for the time being, there aren't even enough of them to push my car when its out of fuel. Screw them :-)

We don't have the customers but we do have alot of bugs, call customer service and inform them of the bugs.

A lot of bugs to a few customers ist still an issue of just a few customers.
And honestly.. the main part of the SL Comm just drops the skills, or doesnt even pick up the profession.

And unless you think that a former SL now gone for BH or Ranger will still be sending csr tickets about SL issues but for his current profession, there is no way out.

Actually, that would be pretty funny. The SL profession driving someone so far over the edge that they flew out to the SOE offices with a shotgun and forced them to fix the code, standing there waving the weapon and shrieking like a madman "I JUST WANT A HUG GOD DAMNIT!"

Then, after the SWAT teams came in and dragged the poor sucker off, the devs'd get right back to fixing.. politician?

Hmm.. I'll be in San Diego for the rest of the week..

Anyone near there that can make some Picket Signs? We can picket the offices!

I appreciate all the work you've put into this issue. Don't get discouraged. I'm behind you 100%. The message WILL get across and things will work out. They always do. End of November is coming soon.

BTW, thanks for posting your correspondence with GreenMarine. Although I'm guessing the Producers won't be ecstatic about it, because it says it is confidential. I thought it was cool that you posted it anyways.

---To all the other SL-ers

We need to /rally behind Capt. V right now. Even though it doesn't work ingame, we can still use it here on the boards. Use clear, constructive arguments for why this profession deserves attention. GreenMarine will most likely not be motivated to work under abuse and negativity. And mainly the former and the latterwon't get any of usanywhere. Positive results are the products of positive input.

Although that action can't be performed unless I'm the leader of the squad leaders, let's at least use our humble and moderated human decency to redirect this movement in a positive way.

Dont let these poser SL's get to you. Your not god, or a dev, so we understand you cant force the devs to fix something they dont want to fix.

Man, this is a hard problem.. I am sure that they have seen the problem. The only thing I can guess is that they can't figure out how to fix the problem. I can not think of any other reason why they have yet to say anything about it. I have sent messages and posted many times trying to find a way to at least know that they are working on the problem.

BTW Capt, I am behind you 100%. I can tell you are ready to pull your hair out!

Hahahaha! That's a joy! I love it! That long post (I read through the whole thing skimming the gorath mall thing of course) and it was like a tragedy:

We only have6 days of water left and I thinkShadowleader has a case of the scurvy. Someone has to be listening.

Something new today, one of the main support beams cracked and the ceiling is starting to bow. Apparently the canned goods have botulism (Aden_Nak ate some bad beans) so now we are slowly starving to death too. But that's okay because we only have5 days of water left. Isn't someone out there?

Palitrine wandered a little way off and part of that ceiling caved in on him. I'm afraid some of the water was tainted so we only have 3 days of water left now. Is there someone who can get to us?

It goes on and on. Lovely stuff. Beautiful in a certain way.

Did you see today that TH is going to be posting for us to give him a big list of all our issues? FanFreakingTastic. I'm glad all that work we did months ago is being used so well. How about we send them a report on everything that is wrong with Chefs? See if they even respond "This is for Chefs." If they don't we can laugh and laugh as the water runs dry and we slowly die of dehydration.
