Ok i havent had time to conduct a full investigation of the fix, but this is what I have briefly noticed.

I dont get SL xp when grouping with my pet alone.

When grouping with other players I have notice since the hotfix a HUGE DECREASE in the amount of SL xp gained. What gave me 1000 SL xp yesterday only gave me 150 SL xp today.

I havent checked any SL skills but rally is working, although I dont know how well.

PLZ no flames or griefs just use this thread as a report of observations of the hotfix.

I will test tonight. If you are right about the xp I plan on not only commenting on this thread tomorrow but starting a thread with my revised list of bugs in the SWG Discussion area and posting a link to the thread here. We will have to try and keep it on the first page there to get attention because everyone but the power gamers will be advancing about 1 skill box a month at best.

With the new, apparent, xp formula powergaming won't matter a whole lot. All your high level friends won't be able to earn you xp. You'll have to find people who are willing to help you by earning 49 million weapon xp.

XP is a problem but what about the "fixes" to our skill class?

I just killed a Rancor about 10 min ago .... I got 424 Exp on him that don't make sense at all!! how can ppl have the motivation to get to master Squad Leader with that kind of Exp .... I have two level that I have to get before I can be a Master SL but now ... I'm thinking of droping it if that what SL exp suppose to be!Just tell me that a bug or something!

If you check the SWG Discussion board you'll see a post with ThunderHeart saying that the test center 'might' have this fix up.

Apparently the SL xprecalculation could have been a mistake.
