Thread: My Largest Gripe (Volley Fire)

I spent lots and lots and lots of time saving up for Volley Fire and it just wasn't what I had hoped.
I was expecting to be able to simultaneously start everyone firing at a target I desired. Instead all I can do is re-route fire when we are in combat. I find this ability can hurt more than help as some people in the midst of a battle are using warning shot or threaten shot to try to keep something away from them.
I'd really like to see two seperate abilities.
1. The ability to order everyone to fire at a specific target even if they aren't already attacking.
2. The ability to switch peoples target while they are attacking.
And before 10,000 people say it, yes I know if the first ability was instated it would people the ability to form large groups and have everyone go AFK except for the squad leader and etc. etc .etc. Well put a balance in that if someone hasn't used their keyboard in like 5 minutes the command doesn't function for them or something.
Anyway that's my two cents.

Yeah, I agree. I first got volley fire, and to me it was a huge let down. It ate too much mind for the proposed benefits it gave, so i dropped it.
....Unfortunately, i wanna master SL, so i need to SL xp to get it again...........

Don't forget the failure rate...
But I made a post that might be up your alley on 'What is Squad Leader?' where I suggest 'Point blank Volley'. If that doesn't do what you want make a post on it on how you would modify it or suggest your own.
