I am sorry but I really do not have a problem having some limitations to SL due to posistion of not being able to use /Formup while Dizzy. I do like your idea about drag though and there have been some posts on giving the SL all the waypoints for a mission and thus allowing everyone in the group to view it, which I think is a fine idea.

I know i am not likely coming up with much new here but I think it is worth a rehash if it has been so as to keep things fresh in the correspondant and/or communityrelations minds.

  • SL not able to give commands while kneeling or prone: Why? kneeling and prone are good military marksman stances and orders should be able to be shouted and followed thusly while in position

  • SL commands not working during certain states, to some degree i can understand this but benefits should be available to the SL too not just the followers and we cannot remove states if we suffer them which is ridiculous as a SL is gonna be in the thick of it too

  • I think a squad leader should have a leave no man behind thing that either works like drag incapped or like a force of will to get someone up...this is a wish not necessary obviously

  • a rate of fire increase would be nice kind of like a mini beserk...high HAM cost and only last for 10 secs maybe...again a wish here

  • this one is way out there but an awesome idea I think. a waypoint creator so you can layout postions.

i can understand the not while dizzy to some extent but seriously can you imagine a leader not being able to direct his troops while kneeling to fire or while in army crawl? why would your physical position lying or kneeling affect barking an order? If there is a decent explanation i am missing it on that one

Well, there is some truth that a visible leader is a more effective leader. Although the use of quick vocal commands (even via communicator) and hand signals can assist with some direction, but there is something to be said for "presence" for gettinginto the mind and heartof your squad.. and that's hard to do when you're flat on your stomach and or actively engaging an enemy.

I'm pretty thankful (and amazed) that I can remove dizzy from two people in my squad and relieve a member of his stunned condition all while I'm laying down suppressive fire or focusing my attacks on the legs of my target.
