The last day of respec is upon us and i'm wondering if I should pick up MSL with my alt to aid my husband and I on our adventures but I have one question:


How close do I need to be to my group members for SL bonuses to affect them?


The template i'm contemplating for my alt is MSL/Doc 0344/Ranger 4000... not a strong combat char but easy to park somewhere nearby in a camp... like over the top of a cave or just around the corner from the real combat.

From what I know about distance, the furthest away you can be is whatever the furthest range a rifle can shoot. As far as I've seen, that's about 65m.

You're looking at 65m for rally and volley fire, whereas form up and retreat can be used from anywhere on the planet. The passive stuff (terrain neg & defences) should work no matter how far away.
