I was away for about 8 months and came back for the CU. One of my early toons in the game was an SL/Carb and I used to have fun in groups before everyone discovered Doc Buffs *groans*

I see the game is supposed to be more group oriented now so I'm going to make a new SL and see how it goes.

I'm hoping the grouping will be fun like it used to be.

Anyone else remember the 8 man Gurk Hunts, unbuffed with 55% armour because the better stuff was too expensive as yet?

I personally don't, but welcome back. But then again, moving 30 times in 29 years kinda makes doing anything online hard. lol Well, I look forward to hearing your input and we all can make sl better for all of us.

Many such hunts indeed...the most popular at the time being 'naffs and squills cries of "don't hit the liar" and "take the bull first" spring to mind... you may remember when 'naffs had their own little huts instead of the generic lairs they have now?
I played a lot as a doctor before buffs were cool, and they really did change the way the game was played... sadly I think they severely damaged the notion of group work. But thankfully things are looking more positive for groups... although SL, ironically, doesn't seem to be the leader it should be right now - my hope is that it will get some attention

Say no to the chassis dealer. He may seem like a good guy but that greedy Bothan sonuvabitch will rob you of your pride and your dignity

Glad to see I'm not the only one who came back to SWG because of the CU...
