What does this have to do with the SL forums?

We are playing soldiers. We are supposed to lead our squad into battle, but how many of us actually know combat. I have only seen one player on these boards, not that there aren't more mind you, but one that I've seen that said that they were in the military. As playing a squad leader are we saying that we know combat better than anyone else. I am not. I have never had to shoot and kill a person defending my country. Those men and women that have died for us deserve to be remembered, honored and praised. They have done things that we ourselves are afraid to do.
As to some off topic forum. Even Darth has placed one of these here and he's our correspondant.

The honorable act of remebering a brave soul who has died serving others is never out of place in any forum.
