I personally am not real fond of this but I have not read anything other than what Darth has posted. I felt as a recent regular poster on here. But, I will say that I'm willing to hear out what is the proposal. I felt that I should at least voice my personal opinion, I may not know much about swg since I'm usually playing solo, but I do know a lot more than others may think.

Well put Yeraze. Not completely sure what I think of the concept, so not adding anything to their thread yet.

This is a great discussion guys and thanks for anyone who is participating. Be it good or bad it still brings up some good points for and against and its good to see two professionslooking jointly to the future.

Personally i could live with the idea if we were combined then revamped as one but then again i would be happy with seperate professions and revamps if they could do us justice. But then again im very sceptical the devs can pull off two great revamps back to back that address the issues we have.

Oh well discuss away, im having fun reading everyone's opinions.

I will say that as a separate entity, Rangers are cool. While playing Talley, I was just goofing around and took Novice Ranger, just to kind of play around with it and from just the novice skills, it was cool. I have a toon who I was going to take Ranger/Rifleman, but with this recent development, I think that my place will be at the Squad Leader side. That's where Talley's at and I need to focus my energy into SL and when such a time comes that I can play a Ranger, I will be there with ready willing and able.
