Thread: Human Leadership +10

Hello,


I am new to SWG and always wanted to try Squad leader cuz I love to play war games via computer or via board gamesand usually lead groups in various games including EQ1/EQ2. I love being human in EQ1/EQ2 as well and in some other games. I am glad that human in SWG gives leadership ability of +10 that modifies SL abilities so I picked human by my own perference and I plan to serve Imperials cuz I love their military set-up and serve under Emperor and I always love being evil in EQ1/EQ2..


Anyway, what does leadership +10 do? I looked over Squad leader template and don't see how leadership +10 fits in? Can you explain more what it does and what kind of squadleader skills it modifies? Thanks.

Huh? Why does other races mods actually works while human mod doesn't? I sure hope it will be fixed cuz it doesn't make sense for only race with broken modifier over all other races. ;( Looks like only workable human skill is artisan experiment.. I guess I'll live with broken human race without any modifers cuz I won't do artisan work at all. I'm surprised that it wasn't fixed or never taken down from stupid character creation as human leadership +10 after 2 years. It's misleading to new players..


I read that human has best faction modifer with Imperials than all others so I guess that helps alot to bypass that broken modifier.. And Human can wear any kind of armors. Is there any other good benefits that humans have over other races?

Curious, did anybody ever lobbying SOE about broken leadership +10 in past 2 years?

Well, a few things...

1. humans can't wear all armors. That used to be the case, but now there's special wookie only and Ithorian only armor.
2. Humans with Imperial, you're right. Other races suffer a factional penalty with the empire, but not with the rebellion.
3. The only other real difference is the stat differences. We don't get any bonuses, but we don't get any penalties either.

And yes.. There's been numerous attempts to make that +10 mean something... Just never worked...

Other good benefits......Human Females look better than Rodians, Mon Cals, Ithorians, Bothans, Twis and Zabs.


Not that us SLs would hold that against the last 2 were they to walk in the Officer's Club.


Like anything else matters beyond that.
