Just made it today to MSL, but i have some questions about it.

Moral boost, does it work? On activate, u seem to get some damage or something, but u dont see an icon below the group members name, nor imho does it do anything.

Steady Aim, Does this only work in conjunction with the Aim command, or does this ability just give a greater chance to hit the target?

Group Terrain Nego and Group Burst run, do this only work when the Squadleader performs retreat? or is this activated as soon as the Squadleader is made Group Leader?

Group Ranged and Melee Defense, similair to Group Terrain Neo etc, this only activated as soon as the squadleader is made groupleader? Do the other people see the have additional defense when they press CTRL+C?

Do the Group Ability's also apply to the squadleader him self? (If grouped ofcours)

Thanks

Boost Morale evenly splits damage between all members of the group.

Steady Aim gives everyone improved accuracy for first shot as long as it's a ranged profession

GTN/GBR/GRD/GMD are all passive skills which means that they start becoming active the moment we are group leader.

No others cannot see them in CTRL+S (s=skills actually) but still the answer is no, they do not show up. All work for the SL except Retreat. We have to Burst Run for ourselves, but yes they work for us as long as we're grouped with people or with pets.

I just woke up so I know I'm forgetting something.

Congrats and Welcome aboard.

Unless something has changed that I don't know of, Boost Moral does wounds, and given how slow wounds are gained...

Boost Morale evenly splits damage wounds between all members of the group.

Steady Aim gives everyone improved accuracy for first shot as long as it's a ranged profession attack, no matter if ranged or melee, but considering how long the windup of the ability is, you are better off by not using it. (Mathematical analysis of this ability can be found in this forum, clearly showing that the damage of a team, even if it has complete 8 people in team, is less when using the ability than when not using it. )

Corrected.

hmm, well retreat works for me and my group, it just means the leader can't burst run with everone else, and it takes alot of action and mind, leaving you vulnerable

Yesterday i noticed, when the squadleader(me) has fire damage, his abilities no longer work cause of the windup bar. Any one else noticed this? Cause the fire damage start ticking, the warmup timer keeps getting canceld.

Happend to me during PVE Base take over.

EDIT : Quick question added

How long does moral boost work? Cause u dont see a timer or icon below the group name?

If I recall correctly several states interfere with SL abilities. Just like you can't /formup if dizzy, it stands to reason if you were on fire you'd be a bit distracted from being able to articulate a group command. I know if I was on fire I'd probably be screaming AAAARRGGGRAAAAARRRGGG!!!!

Boost Moral is the wound redistribution and it is instantaneous so once you do it, it applies immediately. Since it doesn't apply a buff you won't see an icon appear. I don't even know how often you can do it since I rarely use it now since wounds don't happen as much.

So, even in this dire situation you are still giving commands, i am impressed...
