I just saw the new expansion coming out mainly being for jedi?! I have been playing nearly every day for two years and yes I have a jedi toon but I can tell you right now I would give it up in a heart beat if removing jedi from the game would make this game better. What made me really like this game was the GCW when I first started. Battle fields were fun and no jedi around to ruin it. But it looks like too many people wont pvp unless they have a fully templated jedi or lengendary weapon to give them an edge over everyone else.
Ok its time that squad leader was revamped. Now I am not a squad leader but I would like to see A FULLY TEMPLATED SQUAD LEADER GROUPED WITH A FULLY TEMPLATED JEDI OWN A GROUP OF TWO FULLY TEMPLATED JEDI. Yeah thats what I said.Things like plus 100 to defenses and maybe a 20% damage bonus when group members focus attacks on the squad leader's target would be a good start. Now anyone who disagrees with this is a jedi and only wants there jedi to beawesome for all that hard grinding they had to go through boo hoo.
On a side note smuggler and commando needs a revamp. Bounty hunter and combat medic are working quite well. But smuggler need there own mission terminal with new smuggling missions and player bounties put on them for failing and commando needs to do damage equal to jedi but cover an area doing more damage to opponents that dont spread out than a jedi could. Dont anyone say that adding that kind of power to these non jedi professions would ruin the game or be unfair or unbalancing. To think or say that people would flock to these proffessons in mass and ruin the game is wrong. Yeah these proffessions are not jedi and that is exactly why they need a boost. Jedi has been and is being balanced out more and more but will and should always stay the most powerful solo class but for those who dont want to play jedi or want to do something other that grind THERE IS A NEED FOR OUR NON JEDI PROFFESSIONS TO BE EXCITING, CHALLENGING AND VIABLE.
Ok once again I said whatI wanted to say now I will wait for the flames and non constructive posts to roll in. AllI want is for there to be more in the game besides grinding jedi so we can then what? I guess the devs took the game a different path than I wanted. They went for a all jedi community fighting amongst themsleves for more jedi power.A very vicious and not very sociable game.

On the defence part we still have to work. I'd like to have the +5 in the master box changed to +25, resulting in a permanent +50 defence. With rally active, we're then getting close to your proposed values, but since rally is only temporarily, it wouldn't be wrong to give more than it currently does. On the +20% damage, volley fire gives +15%, which is pretty close to your suggestion. If used well, it proves to be quite deadly, the very one ability which can always be pointed at to show that the SL is not worthless.

We could definately use some help but as far as 1 SL and 1 Jedi beating 2 Jedi, that probably isn't going to happen. Not saying it's not possible, just unlikely. However, a SL truely shines in a full group. Without a doubt in my mind a SL grouped with 7 Jedi will beat a group of 8 jedi. The damage multiplier of Volley Fire alone would probably assure victory.
We have one incredible skill and a couple usefull skills, but not really enough to justify getting MSL.

As far as squad leader not seeing anything done to improve it yeah I have been waiting on the smuggler revamp for over a year but like I said I would love to see an increase in squad leader, smuggler and commando bringing the jedi down even that much more. If I posted this in the jedi forums there would be an insane amount ofposts with negative responses to my idea to say the least. All I am saying is that sure jedi should be a cool powerful proffession but I would like to see the other non jedis steppin up and being a force to be reconed with that would make jedi think twice before going special forces then maybe the GCW would get more focus and we could start seeing a more exciting game.
