As the title states above will the template work?

The plan is to make my wookiee into a MCH/MSL/Pistoleer 4/0/0/0. Has anyone ever played this before? Any pointers on how to play this toon PVP/PVE?

One more question, can you pull out pets in the Avatar station and Corvette?

Thanks

My crew uses pets up there, but you might want some healing someplace if you do.

If it will work: yes. But i assume that you want to know if it will work well... and then the answer is no.

It's true, when you group with your pets, you yourself get the bonus of being teamed. Though, your pets won't receive any of the passive bonuses, your pets won't gain anyting by rally or steadyaim, your pets don't get burtsrun from retreat, your pets are not affected by formup or roostmorale. (The latest i have not checked, but i don't think it makes sense...)

You can indeed boost your own damage output and the damage output of your pets with volley fire, the +15% apply to anybody of the team, no matter if player, creature or droid, the bonuses passive team-bonuses, rally and steadyaim only will be good for you. (And, steadyaim actually is bad for you, but that's another matter, problem of the ability, not of your template.)

And also besides these creature-specific drawbacks of the SL profession, you're most likely to at some time start to slightly dislike CHs as a SL. The team size is at a maximum of 8 people, this limit is easily reached. If somebody of your team clutters your team with creatures while you urgently need the room, you'll be rather uneasy and perhaps have to be so rude to throw the creatures out of the team. And, while that is bad enough if you have a CH/Rifleman or something like that in team, it'll be even worse if you, the SL, are the CH, too... without creatures, only as SL, you'll be a rather weakling fighter, despite the few points in pistoleer. And you'll be forced to drop your creature-based fighting power in favour of accepting more teammembers sometimes.

I think it is playable, it can turn out to be very interesting, but you should better expect your combat power to be more on the average than on the top class range and you shouldn't be surprised when there are some situations where your combination turns out to be rather useless. (It's the price you often pay for going you own way... it has the chance to be great fun, but bears the risk to be a failure and to actually be quite unenjoyable for the player, too... i can't decide if you can take the risk, only can give you some pointers on what drawbacks you might have to face.)
