...when I was out Krayt hunting for the first time on Tuesday night.

I had never gone Krayt hunting before Monday night and on Tuesday night the group I was with decided that my SL abilities would come in handy. With all the dizzies that a Krayt Dragon dishes out I finally realized why SL was the first profession I ever mastered and the one that I still hold to to this day. /formup worked perfectly every time, curing the sometimes seven at a time dizzies that kept our group of hunters from ever standing up. I was so happy to actually see my SL skills being USEFUL.

I also felt like a true leader finally when I was able to lead the group to the next Krayt with my Tracking skills from Ranger. I just wanted to post this to say for the first time that I truly am HAPPY to be a Squad Leader. I can't wait to see how the Squad Leader profession betters our skills.

I LOVE BEING A SQUAD LEADER!!!

It makes it all worthwhile doesn't it? I have had a couple of moments like this; where I question why I'm wasting points on a broken proffession only to experience a purely perfect SL moment and I remember why I love this role.

Good for you, my friend. May you experience many more rewarding moments like that.

Yeah seeing someone just wondering what is happening and he don't undertand it. That is nice, think as squad leader that moments will be more frequent. Cause almost no-one else as the squad leaders know the profession.

Last night even someone in the group wondered how it came that they see everytime we engage a system message: 'good luck and keep organised and follow the target calls'. At last they figured out that i was squad leader, and some encouragement is mostly helpfull when you start to fight

So we cut through enemys pretty easy, informing the group that the doctor was getting aggro from some aggresive preditors that broke his maskscent while fighting the other critters that were our mission target. Just don't missuse the system message, and for normal chat you have groupschat.

Hehe, my overall favourite was when me and a guildee who was almost master heavy swordsman were fp farming in KV, some imp jumped us and started laying into my guildee with dizzy/kd combo, I just sat back and formed him up in between head shots. Took the guy the whole fight to figure out what was happening, despite my constantly yelling "Stand to!"

At the risk of hijacking the thread....I have to post my own story of a misunderstanding of my SL abilities.

I used to have the phrase "Nice and Easy" for my steady aim command. (Its dumb, but I wanted something a little less cliche than Stay on Target!)... After a small skirmish with an Imp, I got a /tell from that imp giving me grief about taunting and how unproffessional it was. I asked what he was talking about and he said that my yelling "Nice and Easy" after he got killed was me taunting him! When I got done laughing, I explained it was my SL command for steady aim and he realized his mistake. We both got a good laugh out of it in the end.

Hehe thats pretty funny,

One time before the jedi were unlocked some of my group members were wondering why I was saying "Focus squad , use your instincts!!" thinking I was trying to unlock the slot or something.

Haha silly ppl, still my favourite SL quote I use along with Concentrate all firepower on %TT, make em scream HUUUAAAAA!!
