Thread: Concept Re-vamp

I just like to point out there are now 10 pages of this post, and a good 5 pages of this is is either 2 guys b**ching at each other or someone re-posting their idea 20 times (so it seems) tweaking it each and every time if someone commints on it. Thank you for wasting the DEV's time who has to read though all of this crap and making us look like 5 year olds fighting over a shovel in a sand box.

If you wanted to tweak your ideas, waste /our/ time here and then post a final copy, if a couple guys need to, and I quote, 'snipe' at each other, do it here.

But for God sakes don't do it on a DEV post that is asking for our imput about our Re-vamp.

Damage is done, but if the oppertunity comes up, I ask that this doesn't happen again. I am asking player to player, I am asking you show some respect to me, my fellows, and yourselves. We all desire and improved SL, we all ask that we have a good time on something we pay money for and take time out to play. We have either played this game a long time or we actually care about the Profession in question. Debate is good, debate can be constructive, and new and better ideas can come of it either as a compromise or as the spark of an idea.

But there is a time and place for that, like here.

Not there.

Thank you.

If you have the balls, Ripon Wisconsin. Again, put your money where your mouth is.

i always counter post if i feel its necessary and I have time

why?

because it follows-up on commentary and quite often leads to a mutual understanding on issues, or gets down and really details all the different angles on something. I personally find it helpful.

The only ones that arent helpful are ones that dont try to debate and they justs it there and flame or insult...i can agree those dont do anything......but if you are counter-posting and debating an issue then I think good does come out of it int he long run.

Vec,
You dont want to look like a 5 year old but you post your RL home town and state and basicly call some one out...in RL? Sorry but that doesnt make you look very mature. For all you know Wolf could be a stone cold killer, a seasoned RL vet or a martial arts expert...who knows?

Course neither is asking if ya can poop on some ones forehead Lmao

All of this coming from a guy from Wisconsin lol... Does your state even count?

This whole "Put your money where your mouth is" thing. This is the mentality of casual "friendly duel, no DB" people who help kill this game. I mean, how many times have we all heard that trying to get coaxed into PVP when we were just going about our business.

This is a game, not an intergalactic c0ck measuring contest. Lighten up.

You missed the point Dextrix, upuntil the end. Mature is taking responcibility, being dependible. You don't buy a 20k car if youdon't have a job or have no way to afford it. You don't talk trash online unless your willing to back it. Same difference. And you never know Dex on who or what /I/ might be. Obviously I am secure and confident in my own abilites to statethat.

And Wolf, the place where a man is from doesn't mean someone is less the man. Obviously your a child, a mere boy who hides behind your computer talking trash with mommy and daddy paying your bills and your only responcibility to make sure you don't flunk out of high school.

Grow up, take some responcibility in your life, get some respect for yourself and then someday you might actually respect someone else.

Oh, and to show your ignorance for Ripon Wisconsin Wolf, I happen to be a member of Harrison Ford's College Frat at Ripon College. Ripon is also the birthplace of the Republician Party.

Keep this off the boards guys... if you feel the need to flame, PM each other.

No one wants to hear it.

The SL board have always been a civil place, and we want to keep it that way.
